Needing advice/reviews on my catalogue-style website

Hello Warriors,

I have a 1 year-old website which is aimed at the British market and is in the style of an online shopping catalogue.

Here it is: www (dot) decor-furniture-shop (dot) co (dot) uk

It's been rather neglected, in as far as linking, posting and marketing goes, but has been worked on with loving care in structural and design ways. You could say it's been my pet project (a labour of love) whilst other websites of mine have got all the profitable attention.

It's still managed to be relatively profitable despite all this.

Anyway, I am about to embark on a big marketing and posting campaign and would like some feedback on the design front and in particular how the navigation is. One part I would like to improve is the number of clicks to the navigation bar which I have found is under-clicked. A different colour perhaps?

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

    Hi Beamkiss,

You might want to add an Aweber form (or from 'get response' or any other similar services) by the top site column for you to collect a list.

You might also want to have 'video/s' on your site. Do you have a Facebook fanpage? If not, its great to have one and place the 'FB', 'Twitter' & 'youtube' logos on the top left of your site so that visitors can click on them to bring them to these social sites to interact with you.

    Hope these help. CHEERS!

Looks pretty clean and nice to be honest.. but you might want to think about monetizing this website. Where are you getting the money from right now?

Thanks for the tips Shawn. I've been considering Aweber.

Elion, it's an affiliate site. Each of the different sections leads to the top and most respected British shopping websites and the relevant categories.

There's also a blog section with small individual reviews of products.
