Has This Happened To You With Facebook Advertising?
My facebook ads have been approved (CPM) but I'm not getting any views (literally zero!!) even though 24 hours have passed, I have placed a bid higher than the maximum suggested bid, and I do not have any pending payments. Has this happened to anyone? Could you suggest a solution, please? For those who have the patience to read, the full story is below.
I think this might belong in the Off-topic section, but since I use Facebook ads as a means of making money I'm going to post this in the main discussion forum. Facebook ads has always been a great way to get some targeted leads, and I've been using it a lot lately. I use CPM instead of CPC, and have gotten some great results. However, yesterday something happened that has given me quite a scare.
I pay Facebook through my credit card linked to my Paypal account, and it has never failed me. But yesterday, I got an email saying that the Paypal transaction had failed, and I owed Facebook around $6. I tried using my credit card directly three times but each time, the transaction failed. Frustrated, I used my card to make a $0.99 purchase on Amazon, just to check the card, and it worked.
Then I went back to FB, used the card again, and this time it worked! Problem solved? No...instead, it became worse. All my ads, despite being active, have stopped receiving views. I even created a new campaign with a new ad, but it has received 0 views in the last 24 hours. My billing tab clearly shows that I do not have any pending payments. My ads were approved without any hiccup. My target country is India and in a very small niche (less than 10k people targeted). I used to get around 50 clicks to my FB page everyday, but now it has come to a virtual standstill. I desperately want my ads to start functioning again.
Could someone experienced tell me what has gone wrong? I used the contact form to contact the ads team but haven't received any response from them, and worse still, tomorrow's a Sunday! So could someone please tell me if there's anything I can do, or do I just have to keep waiting for a response from FB?
