Where do I file a complaint against a member?

I paid a member to do articles on May 5 and have not received them. I was told one week, then I was told I would have them the next day. Now no correspondence whatsoever except from a "friend" emailing me telling me that this person had food poisoning over a week ago.

The extra cause of concern is that one other member on the same thread hasn't received what they paid for either and just recently 2 weeks ago posted that they paid for something in January and have yet to receive it.

I think this person should be banned and don't understand why their thread is still allowed to remain open for people to pay them and no work is ever received.

How do I report this? I don't see anywhere to do this.

    If it's in a WSO or Classified Ad thread of which you're a paying customer, you're perfectly entitled to post in the thread, complaining about the service. And it can be a good service to other members to do so, in fact. As long as you do so accurately, fairly, temperately, and all the rest of it, of course.

    It used to be that both partys (you and the other person) had to resolve any and all problems between with each other - the WF is not or cannot be held responsible. This being said, I can't see where this principle will ever change while Allen is driving this bus!

    Also, you might want to,If you have facts and can back them up, try the help desk so they know what is going on with this person behind the scenes.

      Post it in their WSO and email the Administrator. The Admin is pretty good. He/she will email them.

      Most of the people on here are really good but some are not. Call em out on it and tell them to make it right.

      I was looking for a help desk but don't see it. Where is the link?

      I have indeed posted in the thread about my experience and the other WF member did too. The thread is pretty far down now.

      I guess my fear is that maybe they may post under another name. This person does have 2 names on the forum. And freely goes by both.

      I guess I wanted to make sure they didn't post under another name, but the same IP and shaft someone else in the future.

    Did you pay with PayPal? Open dispute and get your money back and that's it. Remember his name and don't use him again. There are many great article writers here in WF (Warriors For Hire). Always use popular and rates threads.

      Doesn't always work that way. That happened to me, I raised a dispute. The writer showed long enough to argue my dispute and because they were digital goods, Paypal sided with them. Then, they disappeared again.

    If you paid by credit card, you can also do a charge back with that. It does take awhile to get your money back. Often the instructions are right on the back of your credit card statement, if you get a paper statement.
