Building an internet marketing empire...

...and looking for assistance from you who already have.

After playing around for several weeks, I've decided to pull the trigger and move forward.

In building my empire, I'd like to lay a proper foundation now. For now, my empire will be multiple affiliate sites with Amazon and Clickbank (and others).

So I thought I'd go over to Amazon and sign up so when I do purchase or build my first, I'll have a link to use. But now i am stuck.

I am not certain I understand the affiliate set-up. I haven't settled on the first niche and Amazon is asking for the url and what products I want to refer. I am getting the impression that I will have to have multiple accounts. Doesnt that defeat the purpose of tiered commissions?

Do I have to create separate Amazon account for each site?

Thanks to all of you who have empires and have already crossed this bridge.

I presume you have signed up on the right Amazon link which is Amazon Associates and here is the correct link to sign up

    affiliate-program.amazon.com

Once you have signed and approve, you will be assigned unique Amazon ID and also you will be able to see various type of Amazon Ads you can pique up to begin your campaign such as

    - Links & Banners
    - Widget
    - aStore
    etc

If you are looking for link type of ads then click on "Links & Banner" and just follow the instruction there to get you Amazon product to promote. It also embeds with your unique Amazon publisher ID.

You don't need several account, just one account is enough for all you campaign.

    Hope this help.
