Hello WF!

I've been lurking these forums for about 2 months and I finally want to take action! I came up with a game-plan and I want you guys to tell me if it's realistic.

Goal = 4,000$ USD by 10/1/2011
(leaving me 5 months to make 4k)

Month 1:

Week 1:
EMD (.info, wordpress blog, adsense)
5 x 500 x 5 = 25 articles weekly
Week 2:
EMD (.info, wordpress blog, adsense)
5 x 500 x 5 = 25 articles weekly
Week 3:
EMD (.info, wordpress blog, adsense)
5 x 500 x 5 = 25 articles weekly
Week 4:
Sell all blogs on Flippa.com
Total investment: 60$

Repeat for all 5 months. It does look extremely boring and tedious but hell..I have a 9-5 job and I enjoy writing, also EMD = exact match domain

interesting and worth trying I wish you all the best But try to make some blogs that will not be sold and monetize them with adsense, affiliate programs etc.

First of all, well done because you are taking action, you will probably learn much more this way. And yes, others make money by doing the same thing but predicting the exact amount is not possible.

Wish you all the best my friend.

    Cheers
    Ciel!

Congratulations on having a plan. 2500 words a day is a lot. Especially if it's quality writing. Not saying you can't do it. That's about my daily output, sometimes a bit more.

I'm not all that familiar with flipping sites so I can't comment on that part but by the way you've presented yourself I'd guess you've done your homework. Good luck. I'd probably bet on you on a gut feeling. Keep us posted.

I know it's a lot but my goal is to get 4k and put it towards something I've always wanted to buy.

If I can give you one advice bud, AVOID .info domains. That's my opinion. I noticed that .info domains are often associated with warez, hacking and malware. It's all up to you, I'm not here to condone anything, if anything, setting goals for yourself is a MUST.

I'll ask this, when was the last time you (or anyone reading this thread) saw a .info domain make page one of Google. I'd like to see that. I definitely don't want to be the "killjoy". If you have a different strategy, I'd be glad to hear it.

My Advice: Get a dotcom!! Even the newbies to the internet as a whole, a lot type in domain names as a search term in Google and a lot of new internauts (Internet Cyberspace Explorers, Astronauts) only know one thing, dotcom, the dotcom boom andwill put any keyword then dot com... something.com... I don't generally recommend this but in your case, a dotcom domain with hyphens without SEO will outperform a .info domain with SEO... That's just from my own experience, other warriors might have a different say.

    Hope this helps!

Welcome to the WF! And, as Ciel has already said, indeed we all do, congratulations on taking action!

Flipping websites can turn a profit, there's no doubt about that.

Since your intent is to create substantial content, you just might do better in that same 5-month time frame by focusing on one blog that really fires you up, and a variation on the more conventional route: create your own product(s)!

With your daily goal of 2400 words, you've got your blog covered for the week in less than one day, and the rest of the week you could be writing an WSO that can debut here for say US$7 and later sold on your website for US$27 (probably more like US$37 or more if you want to have affiliates sell it also) - simply document what you've done and give the reader a step-by-step blueprint they can duplicate. (That should be a no-brainer for newbies looking for something real, no pixie dust.)

At this pace you really shouldn't have any trouble coming up with 6 or 7 short information products over the next 5 months. And if you latch onto a hot trend right now, you'll take that same WSO/e-book and create a video product based upon it with minimal time or effort!

The key to everything, though, is already in your hands - you're taking that first step and moving from dream to reality, from reading and thinking to taking action. That's what counts more than anything else.

One final point - your way, you may get your four grand in five months; my way, in five months you'll probably be earning more than that each month, for life!

Somehow I'm confident you'll do well whichever way you decide to go.

... and join the War Room! Those ready and willing to take action are the type who will benefit the most from the one-time US$37 membership.

Thanks for such a great insight Definitely if you can go this way, you will make much more rather than just flipping websites.

But it's up to you. Whatever you do stick to it rather than leaving it in between, success will follow soon.

      Cheers

    Good plan!

Are you relying on adsense as your only source of revenue? I would personally try a mix using affiliate offers and adsense (but thats just me! I've personally had better success in affiliate marketing)

If you're making more than 100 a month it's always better to keep it! I know so many people who regret selling their sites afterwards

Also I agree, splurge for the .com, .net, or .org over .info! the extra 8 bucks is worth it!
