Well...what can I say WF it's been a bad experience for me in the IM department..article marketing, adsense, blogging, ppc, cpa, blabla the whole 9 yards!! But if there's anything I picked up from IM is that I can convince anyone that I know what I'm talking about when it comes to making money.... what do I mean? Someone asked me how they should make money..and I literally broke down step by step on how they should begin, what to buy...investing..articles EVERYTHING. A week later he sent me a screenshot of his paypal and he earned 300$ in ONE week all from my advice. so I asked my self..how is it possible I helped someone making money online when I can't earn a penny  it's so funny cause I told them what to do yet he's bank is bigger than mine!

So now I'm left a decision to create a SUPER UBERLY AWESOME MONEY MAKING BLUEPRINT 3.0++ but I've earned 0.00 and then some..is that considered scamming?

You helped him, so ask him to help you. (Assuming he didn't send
you a fake screen shot - lol.)

Explain the situation and just ask him what he did.

Picking a good niche is probably more than half the battle.

Did you tell him how to pick a niche? There are plenty of tutorials
      on choosing a good/profitable niche.

Start selling what you told him..in other words, teach people how to make money and charge for it.

      Use him as a testimonial.

Yeah I'm going to start doing that...I can't be arsed to hassle with all the SEO BS..but I don't think no-one would buy a 97$ ebook without having proof of said revenue..

        Thank you for posting this!

Warriors are often incredibly harsh in their judgments of people in the IM niche. The general consensus around here is that if you haven't made any money online yourself and you try to sell MMO info or services, you're a scammer. Or at least a no-credibility sleazebag.

As your experience shows, this is NOT the case.

You CAN, indeed, legitimately sell MMO info or services even if you've never made money online yourself if 1) you've tutored others to do it, and they've gotten results (as your experience shows), or 2) you've done research and compiled information which you're using to sell as an information product or your services. This is called reporting. Journalists do this all the time: they simply compile information and report it to the public.

As long as 1) you're not claiming that you've made money when you haven't or 2) that you've made more than you really have, then there's absolutely nothing wrong with this.

Yes, there are a lot of scams in the make-money-from home niche (online or otherwise), so people are naturally suspicious. But people are SO distrustful that it makes it especially difficult for legitimate marketers to market their products are services.

I love the WF. The information, resources and help here are just incredible. But I've also seen Warriors be incredibly harsh in their judgments too -- unjustly so.

this indicates a lack of planning and strategy on your part.

sure, we all know how to make money, but how many of us actually practice what we preach? I offer website feedback on Fiverr in the form of a 10-point review. I've done hundreds of these, but never have I stepped back and taken a look at my own sites. I know there are improvements to be made, and if I made a 10-point review of my own sites I might be able to action them.

Maybe it's a similar thing for you?

P.s. Don't put out a "money making blueprint" - at least try to make money yourself first. Don't join the crowd of leeches selling false dreams!

    • How many sites have you setup / niches? Not all sites are winner. He may have got lucky, and you have been unlucky.

Try this : Why not pick 5 new niches, and build 5 different sites for them. Work on SEOing them, and give it 6 months of solid work. I bet you will start to see results.

I first want to mention that you should put the dollar sign in front of the number, like this: $97 not like this: 97$. I'm not tying to be a smartass, I would want someone to tell me about something like that if I were doing it wrong.

Why don't you just do what your friend did a few times and get some more proof of your system, then launch your own product?

Like a lot of people, I think you just needed to see some proof that it really works before you believe in it enough to take action.

For years athletes tried to break the 4-minute mile and could never do it... that was, until Roger Banister did it in 1954, then several others did it right afterword. Why? Because they knew it could be done.

I don't see anything wrong with it as long as you're honest in your sale page instead of BS the audience that you made $$$ a day with w/e technique you're teaching.

I definitely think that is the case in this thread....

You could go through this forum and find enough real info to put together a "blueprint of how to do IM profitably" - and someone who DID what was suggested could made bank doing it.

There is a fine line between teaching and B.S. - and that line is often blurred in IM.

If you showed him how to do it and he did it, then you can too. Do what you told him to do until you have the same results that he got or better. Once you do that, you will really be in a better position to share that knowledge with others in a WSO. Otherwise, all you can say is, if you do this, it MIGHT work . . .

    Good luck!

Loll well its not totally ironic, the reason is so simple: He Took Action! I am not saying that you didn't or that he did more than you, all I am saying is that he did what you told him to and he made bank, he followed the right steps and therefore made money!

    LOL, that's funny.
I think you should at least have made some real money online using your techniques. Just putting something out without having done it could be considered scammy. You seem to be stuck in the theory zone - sort of like the brilliant teacher who never has actually done or tested out what he's actually teaching - but the theory checks out and has seen results from his students, lol.

That's funny, I am usually good at helping other people better than helping myself too.

So you have a problem because you want to release a product about how to help people make money but you feel bad about not being able to make it yourself.

Well I say go for it, if you can help someone make money, like that guy, I'd say you are pretty qualified to make an info product.

You can even ask for a testimonial and you got a testimonial for your sales page.

    Nice post!

I've had similar experiences in the realm of personal finance. Over the course of a couple years, I consumed a tremendous amount of PF material. As a result, I can list all sorts of strategies, make plans on the fly and sound like I really know what I'm talking about. When I get around to organizing my own finances, I cut corners, give myself too much credit, and inevitably blow it.

I find that when other people seem to be able to do something and I can't, the answer is often psychological. I firmly believe that a major barrier between people and their success resides in their minds. What's stopping you from following your own recipe?

I would suggest that you follow all the steps that you showed your friend. I don't know how hard you have tried, but perhaps he put more effort into and took action and you haven't.

Or you can find a couple more people and give them the same instructions - perhaps create your ebook or blueprint and have some people try it out. Then you don't have to make any claims about how much money you have made following the system, instead you can claim how much money your customers have made following your system.

Remember though, that creating a blueprint is also a lot of work that you must be willing to put the effort into.

    Good luck!

There must be a difference between what you told him and what he actually did. Ask if you can get together or interview him so that you can try to figure out the differences. You don't even have to tell him it is because YOU can't repeat the process (which seem silly since you gave it to him). Maybe he found the right niche; did something different with keyword research; or found a more efficient method of building backlinks. Try to pick his brain!
