What IM Software should i buy with $165? (for my wordpress blog)

I definitely recommend Market Samurai for keyword research, tracking rankings etc. Although it can all be done for free, it's so much easier with the software.

As for spinning, you may also want to look into Magic Article Rewriter.

1. I use the best spinner. I think its like $7 for a week, then $77 per year. A good deal IMO considering the results. I think a new version is coming out very soon so you might want to wait a couple weeks.

2. Wordpress. Get George Brown's Google Sniper 2.0. Excellent step by step approach.

3. Once your onsite seo is done, work on getting backlinks

of course, if you already have a blog and domain, you probably already have your keywords picked out. #2 might not be a good idea since Sniper is all about finding a good keyword to use and building a site around it.

Since you are on a limited budget, and currently only have one blog (and unlike my stupidity of way too many niches/blogs, FOCUS on this first one until you start seeing success) you might consider these suggestions.

Go to fiverr.com and for $5 each:
1. get site submitted to directories
2. get profile links built/pinged
3. get some edu/gov backlinks
4. get a spun article submitted to blog network
5. get some blog comments posted
6. get a keyword rich article that you can manually post to the top 10 article directories with backlinks to your main site

Use the FREE version of Spinnerchief and rewrite a bunch of articles - use as blog posts and use them for article directories / web 2.0 sites

Use google keyword tool (free) - use seoquake firefox plug-in to evaluate competiton (free) - use seo spyglass free version to see where competitors get their backlinks from

Take advantage of some free/low cost trial periods for senukex, magic submitter, sick submitter, etc. and use your spun articles to create backlinks, create social bookmarking, rss feeds, etc. (not all at once - do one trial, then another...)

Use Social Monkee for free bookmarking

You can probably do all the above for less than $50 - put the rest of your money away for now until you analyze everything you have done!

If you do anything with your money - get more keyword rich articles for your blog and use the various free/trial tools above to build links.

Your immediate need seems to be outlined quite nicely in your post. Which I'll add, was written quite well and to the point.

A spinner will not write articles for you, it will only regurgitate what someone else has written. If you need fresh well written content, you will either need to outsource it, or write it yourself.

I submit that you take a portion of your $165 and use it to purchase a reference book or two to assist you in becoming a more prolific writer, until which time you have the capital to sustain the cost of outsourcing the task.

"Strunk and Whites" ; The Elements of Style is a very handy and inexpensive reference for would-be writers.

Here's a link to a PDF copy of the original 1918 version of "The Elements of Style" , by; William Strunk, Jr. . - My preference is a current paperback edition that I can keep handy, but the price of this download (free) can't be beat. *** It should be a public domain edition, so no worries about copy right issues.

Personally, i would look at The Best Spinner. If you look in the "Warrior Classified Ads , there is a discount in there for warriors where you get it for about $47 a year - big saving.

I would suggest BringTheFresh, fantastic techniques, great support and great community. Definitely worth a look.

You may want to look into SEnukeX if you want to go heavily into SEO in the future. Or, If you want to get into video marketing and get your videos everywhere with one click, check out Traffic Guyser. I dont use an awful lot of software imo, once you've got the knowledge, you dont need a whole lot of software, anything that can be done in software can be done without it, its just a bit more convenient .

I think it could help also to figure out what it is that you need or want for your blog. So that you can match your needs to the software.

How about save your money.

Instead of buying software that makes articles unreadable, simply
outsource them to decent writers at decent rates. There is no need
to work with an expensive writer for niche sites (especially if you run
numerous.). It'd benefit you in search engines if you simply ordered
brand new articles instead of spin them to unreadability.

Hey I actually haven't started blogging yet but have used articlechanger[dot]net (as far as I'm aware it's just like TBS) to spin some articles for paid submission sites, but in all honesty I'm brand new to all this so I'm sure some of the advice from the other guy's here would have more value.

First of all, take the time to read through all the reviews on this site. I almost wouldn't recommend buying any software at this point in the game if you are already considering getting out. Figure out what your model for making money is going to be and then go from there as far as figuring out tools.

If I had just $165 to spend, I would get:

1. Traffic Travis V3 free version ($0)
2. The Best Spinner ($47 discounted price)
3. Article Marketing Robot ($87 discounted price)

Grand total of $134, so you have a few extra dollars left over

I agree with WinLin. But additionally. I would NOT SPEND A DIME right now and focus on building up good content. You can just write like you speak and use a spell checker (get some feedback from friends).

I would focus on video to get your point across and have a short description of your topic. You can use YouTube and make it mostly a video blog with short written descriptions for SEO. To save money, use a free screen capture program (camstudio) and any video camera, then Windows movie maker (or the Mac equivalent (Imovie) which is way better if you already have a Mac) to edit it and make it nice.

Once you start getting subscribers and regular readers, THEN spend some money.

Don't get me wrong. I like to think big and believe strongly in investing in my business, but if I only had the amount you listed, I'd hold onto it for an emergency.

Mean time, there are TONS of really excellent resources, plug ins, autoresponders, etc. to the point where I don't know why everyone feels the need to spend a bunch of money.

Crap.... I shouldn't be so honest. The IM niche is one of my favorites... but facts are, there are tons of resources out there that are great AND free.

Build with quality, then worry about major marketing. Doing things the opposite way (especially for a beginner) is a set up for failure (in my opinion)

The way google is.. if your site really rocks and has great content on a specific topic.. they will find it and rank it well. I've been pumping out some really highly ranked sites lately all based completely on content. Of course you don't stop there, but that's the best start.

1. If I were you I would outsource the article writing. I'm not sure why would you need a spinner to write articles.
