eBook in exchange for opt in?

Is any eBook fine to exchange for opt in?

If not, do I have to create one? Can I use someone's who offer free eBook?

Before you can give away an ebook you have to have the rights to do so. You can either create the ebook yourself or buy an ebook with give away right.

I guess my first thought is No!

If someone wants my contact details then they need to be giving me something I want and something of real value.

Also, if I get the ebook or freebie and it is not excellent value then I don't have a lot of respect for the person giving it.... and likely won't stay on their list for long or at all.

So, if I have understood your question correctly, and if you are offering an ebook in exchange for contact information you want to make sure it has real value (as well as perceived value), and you want to make sure you are going to be able to continue to deliver value to that person as a subscriber to your list.

As for 'Do you have to create one'. Often that is the best way to go, however, occasionally you can source high quality PLR and you can rewrite or re-purpose it and that can be a very useful free gift.

I am not usually that keen on giving away other people's products that have 'free giveaway' rights. I would rather give those to my list as an extra freebie along the way rather than something up front.

Others may have some different views.... But there are just a few of my thoughts

Hmm. I bought a website that contained eBook and they said I had PLR but I can't give out for free?

Yes that can be the case.

Each PLR product has it's own rights with it. There are quite a lot of PLR products that have 'can't give away free', but there are others where they specify, you can give it in exchange for an opt in, and still others that let you do whatever you want with it.

You always need to read the license that comes with it and follow that.

However, there is no reason why you cannot completely Re-purpose PLR so you can use a PLR product for ideas and create your own ebook or create your own course. You want to make it different to the PLR product.

By re-purpose I mean not just re-writing but you could also do something else like create a short video instruction as an example.

If you want to find more give-away right ebook to build you list, then this is a good place for you to check right there ONEBUCKEBOOK.com

There will be plenty of products ebooks, software, scripts, templates, video tutorials and audios that come with resell rights, PLR, give-away rights.

You just need to check through each single products rights license one by one until you find a good or suitable ebook for giving away and explode your subscriber's list. You can spend only few dollars for some ebooks there and get instant download.

As you know, building list is not too difficult if you have enough good ebooks or items to give away. And it must be new not old or you subscribers will ignore it and lose your chance building more list every day.

So, exchanging is not so interesting but buying (invest) some of them from new updated products would be much better.

          Good luck!

A quick google search and you'd find thousands of ebooks with re-sale rights. Not they their the best, but it's alright if you're giving it away free!

You can choose to use a book with giveaway rights, but be sure it is packed with quality and useful information. Your optin gift is your first impression on your list subscribers. If you give them useless content from the beginning you will see a number of them unsubscribing from your list before you can have any further communication with them.
