Solving a chicken or egg problem

I have created a web site recently but now have a problem getting any user content on the site. So far, everyone who visited the site has left because the site has no content (chicken or egg problem).

The site I'm referring to is Webifieds.net which is a website for internet-related classifieds.

Any suggestions on how to get some initial content on the site?

    Have you thought about emailing people offering services on Craigslist or Gumtree? Maybe contact them and get them to upload their services? Would also suggest getting on various forums to promote the website (I noticed video games on your site and know that these are popular!).

      Thanks a lot for your reply. I thought about emailing service providers, but then got worried that they might flag my email as spam, which could affect the deliverability of email sent from my domain. But it seems I'll have to follow this path eventually.
