Project 1 done, suggestions for project 2 please!

Hi guys,

I'm pretty new to making money online and after browsing the forum for a while, I took two pieces of advice:

1. When you are starting out, just try one of the money-making ideas suggested on the website and do it properly before trying out the next thing.

2. Try writing a short e-book and put it on fiverr, perhaps with some affiliate links in there.

So I set about writing the e-book. It took me a while, and I went way overboard (it's about 40 pages) but I think I did it properly. I have just finished it and have put it on fiverr, so now I can wait and see if anyone buys it.

The reason for my post is that I am hoping for suggestions from you guys for project number 2. I don't have a whole lot of money to play with (until my e-book takes off :-) but am happy to do something on a small scale.

Thank you in advance of any suggestions!

Instead of moving on to something completely new, why not focus on your existing ebook? Continue building it up. Create a website for it and start driving traffic to it.

You took the time and effort to create it, so leverage that work by selling copies of it.

That's what I was going to suggest as well. Start a squeeze page and sell it. Learn SEO so people come to your site and keep working, so you will eventually get more and more people. You can sell it for a lot more than $5 as well.

Yes I forgot to mention that as well.

$5 for an eBook is way too low. It will kill your advertising costs really quick. Try selling your book anywhere from $27 to $47 and see how it does.

        Good luck.

That's interesting. The reason I haven't gone down that road already is because all of the information is available for free on the internet without *too* much trouble searching for it.
But what I have done is put it all in one place and added nice screenshots and examples etc. I think that that work alone is worth $5, but I'm not sure it merits much more than that!

Also, if a person who buys the book uses a code of mine that is in there, I will make $30 - this is another reason why I don't feel too bad about just selling the book for $5.

I will certainly give it some thought though. Although if I was going to sell the e-book properly, I think I would definitely have to make some improvements.
