Domain Masking/Forwarding and Choosing Domains

Hey Guys,

I am a beginner affiliate, and am trying to set up my first online affiliate page for the product, truthaboutabs.com. Just so you know what I'm working with, I use Go Daddy for domains, Bluehost for hosting, and Wordpress for the actually site builder.

The first problem is that I'm confused about whether domain forwarding/masking is harmful to SEO as it can be seen as "duplicate content". If domain forwarding/masking is seen as "duplicate content" then does it only work for paid traffic? For instance, if I had a pretend domain called absreview.com and forwarded/masked it to truthaboutabs.com, they would both have the exact same content. If Google considers that "duplicate content" would it then poorly rank my SEO? If I can't get organic search results then the only way to get traffic is paid traffic, right?

Would it be more effective if I just made a review/abdominal site for the product that has good SEO, high ranking, has occasional paid traffic, and is NOT forwarded/masked? The site would have all my affiliate links etc.

My last problem is that I do not understand what domain to choose if I were to make a review/abdominal site. I have come up with a 23 possible domains having anywhere between 1,000,000 to about 166,000,000 Google Search Results. Is it better to pick a small niche domain with keywords closer to the product such as loosingyourbellyfat.com with 2,130,000 Google Search Results, or a domain such as modelabsnow.com with 166,000,000 Google Search Results?

Thank you so much for your time as I know this is a really long question.
