About to start my autoresponder series - advice please (Alexa?)

Im just about to start my autoresponder series for my latest product and wanted to ask about a number of issues surrounding message frequency and such.

1) I know many members here send emails based on a certain schedule. Could anyone recommend a schedule of which works well, having been tested? As in ...

DAY 1 - First message
DAY 3 - Second message
DAY 7 - Third message

2) How long should I email my subscribers? I know I just read over one of your posts Alexa and you said "forever" - just how long is forever?

3) Do others here split tyre kickers from buyers within their lists? If so, obviously the messages are very different, yes?

4) Should I focus on converting tyre kickers into buyers FIRST? OR, should I upsell buyers with affiliate/related products FIRST? Then get to the tyre kickers later?

5) Is it best to simply redirect email messages back to my sites articles? Im not sure about this as my articles will be publicly viewable. Seems a bit silly, if they are sent to an article they have already read. Should I hide my autoresponder series articles, using say, a nofollow restriction?

6) Any other advice?

Cheers

Considering the date you joined and your post count you're definitely more experience in IM than me but let me try to give you some answers..

I send emails/followups to my subscribers everyday and never got any complaints etc (as long as you provide value it should be ok)

    2) How long should I email my subscribers? I know I just read over one of your posts Alexa and you said "forever" - just how long is forever?
As long as they are on your list, building a long term relationship is key..

    3) Do others here split tyre kickers from buyers within their lists? If so, obviously the messages are very different, yes?
Splitting is a must..i send tyre kickers offer to my low end products and buyers offer to my high end products..

    4) Should I focus on converting tyre kickers into buyers FIRST? OR, should I upsell buyers with affiliate/related products FIRST? Then get to the tyre kickers later?
I actually suggest doing both at the same time.. (it should not take long)

I have another mailing list for newsletter for which i send regular links to articles etc... Only send these links to buyers list if the articles are really of great value.

Last thing don't be afraid to mail your list

    Cheers,
