I've been successful offering a free bonus gig. I sell info products, so it doesn't cost me anything extra to do.

If your fiverr gig is related to social media marketing, you'd make some quick bucks.

One strategy usually brought up is to put your gig up on all the other fiverr like sites out there. I have a few gigs on Fiverr and I put them up on about a dozen other Fiverr clone sites and have sold at least 1 gig on ALL other sites.

I was so happy with the results I made my own fiverr site and sell my own gigs on it. I get at least a couple sales a day on my on clone site

What script did you use? Did you buy one (if yes, which one?) or did you code it from scratch? Thanks

Well what I think is that instead of just using Fiverr you could actually make a sales thread on some sites whether its a forum or just a website and market it that way, and like previously mentioned build a website than do some seo to it for certain keywords!

    Good Luck

i think u should create a website and put all ur fiverr gigs there.

so previous customers can see ur other offers too..

and at the same time u can do other advertising to ur site, rather than fiverr itself as u can direct traffic straight there.

try doing seo if u are patient enough if not go for media buy.

You should put your gigs up on other Fiverr-type sites like others mentioned above...

Also, I believe you can point to your gig(s) in your sig here... If not, you can put a link to all of your gigs on one of your websites/blogs and link to THAT in your sig...

That should drive traffic to it, help generate sales and help with the SEO of the gig itself too!

    Best,
    Shane

Have you ever thought of paying for a premium post? You will probably make your money back quickly on that. Also, be sure to check out the other sites as well, such as Zeerk, etc. Post on there and look for premium spots there as well. They will probably be cheaper too.

I have looked all over fiverr and i cant find any premium post option anywhere. It would make sense for them to have this feature but I cant find it.

try making a simple video about your service and put the link in your desciption on Youtube. If you just summarize your service and emphasize the benefits, it could help promote it.

After reading all the great info on this thread I took some PLR products I had sitting around and put them on fiverr. 2 products, I paid attention to copy-writing practices and included free bonus reports and have gotten nothing so far(24 hours). I am thinking of putting more products on and then putting up more ads on the clone sites listed in this thread. If I didn't market outside of the sites how successful do you think I could be? Any reccomendations?
Since they are PLR products I didn't make a video. Was that a mistake? I would be glad of any advice you old pros have. I am really just trying to make some quick cash and hadn't planned of putting more than a medium amount of hours into this.

Featured gigs are handpicked by staff, and i recommend Yahoo answers: Use 2 accounts to ask about something related to your gig, and then reply with your gig name and URL

If you do that like 10 times you can get a bit of traffic!

It's a bit black hattish so its your choice

Forum signatures are working great. I need to try PPC but out of 5 $ , 1$ will be taken by fiverr, remains 4$ , we have to work on that.. So what would be the ideal PPC rates for social marketing gigs ?

Good question, I have the same problem as you. I have about 4-5 orders from fiverr everyday but I need at least 10.

I started offering more than other users from the begining until I had enough comments. Now I try to use my signature here and some other forums. Hard to say if it works yet.

    @mediaspree Good luck!

I wouldn't advise promoting your Fiverr gigs with PPC. First of all you'd just be sending paid traffic to a site that is not your own - and it could result in leakage to other gigs instead of yours. So in essence you could wind up paying to send traffic straight to your competition!

It would be wiser for you to leverage Fiverr by building your own site(s) around your gigs. This way you own & control everything and can send traffic straight to your site and even gain direct customers!

It's great that you're doing well on Fiverr, but remember this is someone else's site you're building and they're taking a nice cut of your earnings. Therefore, your primary objective should be to use Fiverr as a tool to build your business as much and as fast as possible.

I wouldn't feel obliged to market a fiverr gig outside of fiverr for $5!

I'd market it exclusively for a price which reflects the fact you aren't in neighbouring competition as you would be with those on fiverr.

Linkedin is the great way to marketing your Fiverr gigs. Just tell people benefits about your gigs and must post with your fiverr profile URL. It's a magic tricks and it's very well works for me.

As a very successful fiverr seller myself a little trick that seems to help keep my gigs ranked high is to send traffic to my gig from outside sources.

The point of this traffic is to help raise your gigs. It's an idea based site so I would get to excited to get to many leads or buying leads.

    You can use ppc

Create or have created a banner for your gig and place it on related sites

Schedule a webinar, build an attendance and shoot your gig at the end

    just some ideas

    - Youtube
    - Forums
    - PPC
    - Other paid advertising
    - Email marketing
    - Blogging
    - Buying space on Fiverr
    - Create more gigs

As others have said, putting the fiverr gig in your sig and posting on relevant forums will drive some traffic to it. Also making gigs on fiverr clone sites will help boost a bit of your sales.
