Just looking into using Premium Web Cart as my eCommerce solution because they seem to offer everything I need.

For it to work you obviously have to link it a a merchant account and at the mo I'm only with PayPal (who suck btw) and was wondering what other merchant accounts were good to use for people in the UK.

Cheers

If you already have a PayPal account then there is no reason to use 2checkout so ignore those suggestions... unless you want to pay twice as much in fees as you do with paypal and have less flexibility ;-) 2checkout is a third party "reseller" of your products and is NOT a merchant account solution and the fees are around 5% compared to paypal 1.9-2.9% and merchant accounts at 1.7-2.4%. 2checkout is great if you have no other options. If you have other options there is no need for it.

What you need to to is find out what merchant account gateways are supported by the ecommerce solution you have chosen to use because that will dictate what merchant providers you can work with since you will only be able to work with merchant providers who integrate with the gateways that are integrated with the ecommerce solution you choose.

    Thanks Josh.

Premium Web Cart tells me that they can intergrate with any merchant which is a plus. I was just trying to see which merchants people preferred over other merchants.

I have PayPal and can integrate that if I choose to go with Premiun Web Cart and next I just gotta find a another merchant to be able to accept Credit Cards.

While they "can" it does not mean that they "are" or "will." Anyone can integrate but if they are not currently integrated with the gateways that a specific merchant uses then they have to do the integration.

You might be better off to get the list of gateways that they are currently integrated with and start from there.

    Hi Vladmm

Here's the link to the page where they list
the current merchnat accounts but this is a
tricky issue as there are so many resellers, etc.
so the listing you see here might not list the
    "reseller" you're considering.

    Premium Web Cart

It's really best to call them and check if you
do not see it listed as it's likely already available.

I was considering a change of merchant accounts
last year and mine was not listed but when I spoke
with my advisor I learned that it indeed was already
    integrated.

When I was referring to resellers, my point is that a lot of merchant accoutns are using the same basic "engine" i.e. Authorizenet, 1st Data, etc.

So while it looks like a lot of unique solutions, the integration into the shoppingcart is pretty common.

I might be goofing up my terms a bit but the concept of what I'm telling you is solid.

Premium Web Cart has worked out great for me ...I love it.

I now promote Premium Web Cart as an affiliate
