I can't say I knew that rule either. But it's a good general principle to follow to never include a brand name in any product or domain name you use. It's always a risk.

my advice. Buy another domain, it costs $10.

    problem solved?

Clickbank is their site name, not yours, so I see no reason why they wouldn't want to keep that branding to themselves, they have the right!

Try renaming it CBpasoapaso or something, I assume they will accept that. Kinda screws up the branding though doesn't it.

I can, I'm afraid. When you own a trademark, you have not only a right but an obligation to take at least minimal steps to protect it, otherwise you may not be allowed to keep it for ever. Maybe they finally learned that ...

Look on the bright side: as commented above, domain-names cost almost nothing.

I once bought a domain name from GoDaddy called ToolDaddy. All was well, I was building a little here and there, then I got a nasty intimidating letter from godaddy! They said I was "infringing on copyright." I sent them an equally mean email and told them that they sold it to me, and they copyrighted godaddy, not daddy and not go. I wound up telling them that a better approach to me would be to offer to buy the name, then they could copyright that. They paid me $500 for a domain name I'd had for less than 1 week!

I'm just glad you did not have some HUGE launch and on Day 1 Clickbank threw your product or service offline until you changed your domain. That could have cost you thousands!

      Cheers,
