How to establish long term business

Hi All,

Wanting a little advice here.

Im making some money online and i know that relatively soon i'll be able to do it on a more full time basis. My question is, how do you go from making average to good money online, to actually having a sustainable long term business?

It just feels at the moment that i'll have a good day then bad day, good month then not so good. Don't want to go into IM full time unless I know i'll make money consistently if you know what i mean! I dont want to purchase the next "big thing" that will make me money for a short while. I want to know if anyone knows of a course or something of the sort that is aimed at teaching long term success and the steps one needs to put in place? Dont mind the time frame, its the sustainablility im concerned about. Im busy reading Anik Singal's "Empire formula" which is a great read so far.

Any advice or help appreciated!

cheers

Rich

Without knowing what you're doing I'd say try to refine it and then scale up or do more of it. Create a little cookie cutter cash flow system and then do it again and again.

Each time you'll learn a little more and you'll earn a little more. That's what I've done. I think the biggest cause of failure or one of them at least is to keep trying new stuff before giving your first effort a chance. Good luck.

Establish long term mutually beneficial relationships with your customers through mailing lists or membership sites that that over-deliver, rather than burning buyers with hidden charges and forced continuity rebilling popular in the cpa world.

Lately I've heard from a number of sources that offline marketing is the way to go. There are a number of WSOs availalble in that area. Good luck!

for a long term business you'll need a:

    nice growing responsive list

    your own products or apps

    start consulting/teaching/training individuals and businesses

    continue to expand your operation

hire a sexy college intern as an assistant

    then... call yourself a guru!

ok the last two are "kind of" jokes but the rest are totally necessary.

I agree, it sounds like building an email list is exactly what you need. Build a trusting relationship, don't overpromote and it could be extremely lucrative.

Indeed. What I like as a customer is that you reveal everything honestly and keep me updated with quality stuff.
