LinkedIn a way to draw traffic?

I use various methods to help draw traffic to my website, and LinkedIn happens to be one of them. Now one thing that I have noticed is that I used to draw a lot more traffic from the professional social networking site before it "blew up" and got a ton of members. I still get traffic from them but not as much as I used too.

I'm curious if any of my fellow warriors use the site to draw traffic as well, and if you have any tips on ways to boost traffic that I might not be thinking about?

Basically I stick too:
-Friending people in my field of work, and posting updates
-Maintaining a Business page for my business
-Joining as many groups that relate to my field of work, and posting articles that I have written, or commenting on articles posted by other members

Any additional tips or insight would be much appreciated.

I am noticing a recent decline in connections through LinkedIn as it becomes more and more popular.

Get the AddThis plugin for WP and every time you post on your blog, share it on LinkedIn (you can choose to share on your status and/or ALL groups you are a part of). It works really well.

I just got on Linkedin because my cousin asked me to join. What's amazing is that this unknown site just went public with an IPO @ about
$40. A week later it's @ about $80. So it must be worth something being on it to draw traffic. It's basically for business, not personal. I hope it works for all of us. Good luck.

Make sure you join groups and get involved just like any social media sites. YOu can really draw traffic from any thing that catches someone's eye or thoughts. The site is growing and I have experienced a rise of traffic from it actually. I believe though the more time you spend on it the better it works. NETWORK< NETWORK<NETWORK. is the real thing.
