Going to China

So let's you translated your blog or site into Chinese somehow. What are the odds that someone in China would actually see it? I have no clue how that works.

I know there a Google for Mexico and other countries and I assume Google automatically handles search engine stuff in different languages and then funnels the info into the appropriate country sites.

But how does it work in China? I thought Google got kicked out? Do you have to register your domain with Baidu? Do you have to have a domain that ends in .cn?

Any insight is much appreciated.

    If you use the Google Webmaster Tools, you can geotarget any of your domains to the appropriate country.

      The English language has about 540 million users and China is second with 400+ million users and Spanish is third with about 140 million users. My goal is to reach people. Add those up and I've got an audience of one billion people! (No, I'm not ambitious at all...)

      In addition, the English market will likely remain relatively stagnant compared to the Latin and Chinese markets, which will grow like wildfire as users come online...
