... i feel like a marathon runner

11 years back in 1999
When i was in school and 14 years old i participated in a cross country race which was 14 kms long.

I was not an athlete and never practiced. But just to challenge my friend that i can complete the race, i took part in it (and completed it).

It was very difficult for me to run 14 kms, i was exhausted and tired but i kept running.

When i was about to reach the finishing point i was barely able to walk. But i was contended that i ran and finished.

2 years back
After losing my job, i thought of making money through internet

I built a technology blog. I worked hard and spent hours to build backlinks to my blog. For 2 years i was making $1 a day and $30-40 a month.

But i kept running. I did nt stop. I knew i have to finish the race. And warriorforum was my strength that kept me going.

The knowledge shared here, was my info supplement that kept me going..

Just a couple of months back i checked out my adsense account to see that i have made $30 in a single day (which was more than what i would make in a month). Last month saw several $30 days, and even a couple of $60 days

I feel like a marathon runner, who is exhausted yet contended and happy that YES! i have done something! I have FINALLY reached somewhere

The race is however still on, and i am still to cross many milestones. But now i feel more confident and prepared.

Without the warriorforum, it would not have been possible

I would specially like to thank trevor somerville and Xfactor , and all other warriorforum members.

their knowledge and wisdom has helped me to construct my life the way i want it to be.

Thank you everyone, thank you God, thank you warriorforum...

PS:
Here are some tips that i would like to share here

1. There are millions of niches yet to be fully explored
There are so many niches out there which have lots of scope

So never think that there are few niches. Keep exploring (i have found amazon.com to be the best place to find niches and understand my target audience.)

2. Never worry about the "Competition"
If there are 100 best selling books in the market for weight loss, you can still enter the market and take your share.

All you need is a good strategy and an idea on how you can hit the emotional buttons of your target market.

3. Always go niche by niche (guirella strategy)

I am a fan of smaller projects that make me decent money.

When i just started out i dreamed to make a site that would beat wikipedia. (yes i was such a fool).

I created a technology blog thinking that it wil compete with lifehacker. When i created a site related to health i thought it will compete with about.com/health

I was wrong, i started these websites. I worked hard on these elephant projects and was never able to complete them. I hardly made any money out of these.

Thanks to the guidance here in warriorforum, i realised that niche marketing or building sharp and focused websites is a better way.

Last year i started creating niche sites focused on single topics. And now i have success knocking

4. Become a jack of all trades and master of one
Being an internet marketer i think you should know lil bit of everything

- copywriting,
- design basics, use of colors and design theory
- SEO
- HTML/ good programming skills
- Blog hosting / installing scripts etc

According to me, to make money on the internet it is advisable that you should know the basics of all trades. And you must try to master copywriting and psychology aspect of the business.

Niche marketing, according to me is about understanding your target audience in a better way. The more you understand the product and the need of your target audience.

The better your profits would be.

5. Prefer Quality over Quantity
When i talk about quality, i aim for decent results.

Don't become a perfectionist or quality maniac who would work so hard on a single thing to make it perfect that it never gets completed.

in my opinion...>

Decent quality sites + Rinse and repeat (quantity) = Is the secret of success
