How long does it take you to put together a WSO?

Hey guy's,

I'm in the stages of putting together a WSO, I have the report done but am having a bit of trouble with the copy writing. I have most of it done but I just keep going back over it and changing things, I've been at it for about 4 hours now, is this just me or are we all in the same boat?

How long would it usually take you's to put together your WSO's?

It took me about 20 days to put together my first WSO. Take your own time. Remember that this is a place for long term. In the warrior forum reputation counts a lot. The first impression is the best impression. I wish you a very successful WSO launch.

Great reply mate! Actually thinking of launching my own wso, and I agree with you. If the first wso is successful you will get more sales on the second because people trust you.

It takes me about 20 minutes because I never create a product just to offer it as a WSO. The section is there to give special discounts to fellow warriors for something you have created for the public so that's the way I've always used it.

Therefore when it comes to running a WSO I just write a short paragraph saying what I'm selling and why I think people might be interested and then give them a buy button to grab it with - which takes no more than 10-20 minutes depending on how much I need to think about what I write.

If you're talking about creating something just to sell as a WSO then I guess you would include the product creation time, which in my case can be anywhere between 30 minutes and 4 months.

It very much depends on how much you intend to include.

If it's primarily straightforward text, I can get a first draft in a single afternoon; that's a modest 120 wpm, roughly the pace of the presenters on BBC or slightly less, and allowing very generous time for pauses and interruptions while dictating.

I like to leave it for a couple of days before editing, proofing, rewriting.

If you're going to include tables, graphs, screenshots, etc., allow at least twice as much time as you think would be reasonable.

The main thing, though, is to have a fixed time to write and don't waste it doing anything other than writing! Here you may have to get a lot of co-operation from family not to bother you during that time.

Incidentally, one of my classmates in graduate school had a minor miracle with her three kids behaving, becoming more self-reliant and better students themselves - but only after she sat down with them and explained what she needed to do and how they could help.

I shut the doors, turned off the phone, and stayed off my emails for 6 days and created my first WSO. That time includes setting up the site, back-end, videos, auto-responder, and copy for the WSO.

At some point you have to just stop and say its done! You can always tweak it later on if needed and resend it to the buyers. But dont wait until it is perfect, because it will never be perfect. You will always feel like moving things around and change little things around.

It took me about 3 months to create my first WSO.
I created a WSO in 24 hours one time.
The WSO I'm working on right now (98% finished right now) has taken me close to 5 months...

I've been working on my WSO/eBook for over a month but I like making sure everything is up-to date and fresh!
