A "newbie question" about product creation

Lot of opportunists out there saying that "to make money online, just choose a niche, make a porduct, and market it, find affiliates, make money online...." or something like that.

But when there are lot of succesful stars and real experts in any niche, and they are making products and selling them, or even giving them free

How I - who hasn't any experience or expertise in a niche - could make a product and sell it to a lot?

Creating a new product online is no different than any new product you see offline. The way to identify and make your product successful is simple:

    1. Create something that is different than anything else currently on the market.
    2. Dig down into a Niche and you'll find areas where there may be little or no competition.
    3. Find yourself a market with hungry/rabid buyers.

A great example of digging into a Niche is the weight loss industry. How many diet books come out each year and how many are best sellers? A LOT! You would think that market is saturated with information but people in that niche are 'rabid' buyers i.e. a lot of the same people will buy several books on weight/fat loss.

But outside of the main weight loss sector you have a raft of products that deal with; fat loss, beer belly loss, love handle reduction, lose stomach fat, 6-pack abs, muscle building etc etc. These are all sub-niches of the fat/weight loss market.

Other standout markets like the above are niches such as Getting rid of acne (Several sub niches), Internet marketing (Many sub niches) etc.

So, what you need to do is look at any niches you are interested and then see if you can pick out the sub-niches, and then investigate what product(s) are already available. You can then quickly identify any gaps due to lack of products or poor existing products. Fill that gap and you're onto a winner.

Make your products even more outstanding than theirs....Study their product and see what you can do to make it better than theirs.

or don't create any product as of yet, just get their products from clickbank or any other places and promote those as an affiliate.

Yes.. thats the right thing you can do. First try learning from others and start applying the techniques as your own. That will bring many new strategies/possibilities to make it better. Let it go and you will a lot of new things. Once you feel that your ideas are credible and result generating - you're good to go. Create a product and make some money.

The best thing is, as Qamar told above - go to clickbank(whatever platform you prefer) find some good products and start marketing them as an affiliate - till you feel like you have something to offer as your own.

      Good luck!

Kill the fear that you are a newbie. No one buying from you will ever know whether you are a newbie or an expert as long as your product adds good value to what they are looking for.

If you aren't comfortable creating a product yet, sell an affiliate product to start. Honestly though, everyone has some expertise in something. You just have to dig deep and find it.

Is partnering with someone a good idea when making products?

I mean pay someone to write a book about a topic, or partner with him, and then sell it?

This is one way you could go about. Partnerships are formed all the time and they are usually called joint ventures.

An alternative would be to outsource the product creation and then sell the product yourself. You can receive 100% of the profits this way.

I've been paid to create products, it's worked out really well for both me and my partners. The important thing is to know exactly who your market is and set the information at the right level.

      Good luck

If you want to create a unique product but do not think you have the knowledge or skills to do it, sure you could pay someone else. I know I get many requests to write ebooks and I doubt I would get so many requests if it didn't work.

  • The more people doing it the better for you. I teach my students to get in niches with the most competitors that is a huge plus for you (don't do what the gurus teach to find a niche with no competition)

    1. you have potential JV partners
    2. you have buyers trained
    3. you can buy a list of buyers
    4. you can leverage what the successful competitors did

and much more. Good luck 2 u

  • Here is what I would do to make money especially if you are a newbie like myself. Use high quality PLR to build your list and even monetize it. Use affiliate offers to boost your income inside your product offer. theplrstore.com is good for finding giveaway products. Product creation takes lots of time. Save yourself the time and get to building your list as "the money is in the list". Everyone will give you their two cents as to how to make money online, but the best way is to build a list of targeted buyers. And don't buy WSO's from people who tell you its as easy as clicking your mouse a few times. Being successful in this business takes a willingness to learn and work more than anything. Get rich quick schemes just make the person selling them rich!
