Wanna make $100 on fiverr? Here's how..

I was just reading a thread that reminded me of something that a neighbor friend of mine did (probably still does, I don't live there anymore) that I thought might help some people out here looking to make some decently quick money.

Many people look at fiverr and just assume that you can only make $5 per gig.. and who's gonna work for that?! Especially when you see things like people passing out flyers for $5 or something like that.

So, here's how you can make $100 from a single gig, with NO UPSELLS, doing exactly that... passing out flyers.

Ok, I know what you're thinking... "Ugh, I have to get my lazy butt up out of my office chair!?!"

Yes.... yes you do...

But for those of you that really need the cash... you could go get a little exercise and make some money at the same time. Or feel free to apply this principle to anything.

Here's the scoop:
There is a kid in my old neighborhood that would hand out all of your fliers/postcards/whatever for $10 to the entire subdivision of 900 homes.

He'd go around and get a bunch of companies to sign up and make $200 each time he did it, because he'd pass out 20 different companies fliers at the same time.

That's the trick... Simple. Effective.

Compound your efforts by taking on multiple clients for the same gig.

In the above example, Brandon would charge $10... on fivver you only charge $5.. so that's why the revenue is half.

So, set up a gig on fiverr to pass out flyers, take on multiple clients and have them send you their mail piece, schedule a day to walk everyone's flyers around and pop them all on the doors around your neighborhood.. Done, and done.

Just a quick little tid bit for someone that wants to get out there, hustle, and put some money in their pocket.

Now think about ways you might be able to find clients without using fiverr... at say $15 per delivery... then hire a high school kid to do the leg work at $5 per... Just sayin'.

    That's a nice idea.

I'm not sure if it would be good for the companies to have their flyer passed out with other 9, but it's only $5, so...

Also, it's not only companies who need this type of service, many affiliate marketers using offline methods buy this type of gig, specially the ones like me who don't live in the US.

    Thanks for sharing!

I actually set up a gig like this recently for my little brother. He is 13 and wants money to buy his own xbox games and I suggested this to him. He passes them out in our neighborhood and once a week we go to the mall and he passes them out there as well. He does pretty well. He makes enough to buy a new game or accessory every week.

I've seen these gigs listed...... my question would be, how do you know that the person actually passed out the flyers? Say I pay $5 to someone in another country who promises to pass them out. What proof do I have they really passed them out?

I read so many conflicting reports about this--some say they hand out flyers and do great, others say they are asked to stop/questioned by cops.

I would imagine it depends on specific circumstances, but are there general rules? If I outsource this am I held liable for any trouble they might have?

We take the digital camera with us. We take a picture of him holding one up so they can see it is theirs and him handing one to someone. When handing them out door to door, we include pictures of them being handed out at two houses. Of course, there is always the chance that the person you hire will lie and throw them out, which is why you should look for someone with reviews and at least offering some type of proof.

Well, if you think about it, that's probably about as much competition as you'd get mailing a post card to someone's mail box... and it's a whole lot cheaper than $.37 a piece (i think that's what bulk is now)

Nice! It's amazing what a little hard work and entrepreneurial spirit can do.

I suppose, ultimately, you just have to trust someone and test to see if you get any results from it. But like AmandaT said, you could always ask for a photo I suppose.

I'm not sure about the answers to these questions. It's going to vary depending on your state/city/county/etc. Just make sure you're following the rules within your delivery area and you're golden.
