Need advice !about hosting and websites

hello all,
After a week I planing to make about 40 websites, so I want to ask you wich hosting is best for me? I will install wordpress and about two articles.. Also Want to know it is legal to make 40 websites in about week or two? not legal ,but it is safe (?);D will not be Irregularities with competing in google top?(all 40 sites)
Also maybe you can offer good and fast writing service?

    Hi - If you can afford to, I would spread hosting round to maybe 5 different hosts....5 different Ip's..... all good.... regards Allen

    +1 for hostgator.

    Though at 40 mini sites I personally would look at least 2-3 different ip's

    I agree about spending the sites out a bit over a couple of hosting accounts that allow for add-on domains (multiple websites on one hosting account). Best of luck to you!

    If you are halfway sane you do NOT interlink them - or do you want to build a blog net work?

    As for 40 sites...don't go for anything less than a good VPS, avoid shared. You would be in for disaster making 40 WP sites on some shared Hostdaddy hosting. A good VPS would cost you $50-$60/month..i just got one with 2GB of memory...and i have LOTS of sites. (The old one with 768 ram was not enough anymore)

    WP can be very tough on CPU/resources/database accesses etc....a SINGLE WP site can already cause some problems with some shared hosters..let alone 40!! Thats why you need a VPS.

      Perhaps you could contact Hostgator to discuss what they can offer you? It might be that they will be best to know if they can suit your needs, and it will give you an idea of what to look for.

      I also have Hostgator and have a few websites with them. However, I also have hostthename.com which was a recent WSO here for unlimited websites. And also look for a domain service for bz.cm which featured here also. I was looking to spread my ips for various websites and I opted in because of the price

    I use D9 hosting. they have vps that is cheaper than hostgator vps, also i find their reseller plans are better value than hostgator since I think hostgator tends to oversell the reseller plans. When I used hostgator reseller hosting my sites were slow and they weren't so helpful with answering my dumb questions! Anyhow why don't you start with reseller hosting and then upgrade to vps when your sites are getting lots of traffic? I have used a few hosts and really recommend D9hosting, they answer questions fast, they answered a lot of very dumb questions from me and are always very helpful, and my sites are fast. Also to your first questions, yes you can build 40 sites in one week with no problems, except for you might get very tired and square eyes!

    Hostgator is my favorite, but with that many sites planned, I'd spread the love to a few other hosts, or IP's.

    I use a reseller account for my clients with hostgator. I have never had an issue. You should give them a shout. I think the link was in the previous post.
