Which Domain to take from my keyword research?

Hello warriors,
Recently i made a keyword research and found a keyword that has got more than 100k searches monthly and .com is still available for that keyword.Keyword phrase is like this,
"keyword_keyword", so which domain is better, say "keyword-keyword.com", or "keywordkeyword.com"?

Thanks,
Hashif.M

Use the letter "e" for example "ekeyworkeyword.com"
It has been proven that putting the letter e is the next best thin for an exact match domain

If you can get the Exact match domain, then go for it! failing that go for .net or .org

If they are not available, then get your keyword-domain.com

But seriously, don't get too hung up on the exact domain as you can get the same results on keyword-domain.com with great on-page SEO as well as continuing this over and into your off-page SEO.

Does you keyword really get 100K monthly exact searches per month? I'd be pretty surprised if that was the case.

    How did you determine it?

THIS^ Big norm and UMS have nailed this.

Is that broad match or exact match? This is extremely important.

I had to explain to a guy the other day, who was very excited that the keyword he thought was getting 1,500,000 searches a month, did in fact only get 590 a month for exact match.

Well then you've definately got broad match which you don't want.

When you do the search again, on the left hand side it says,

        Broad
        Phrase
        Exact

You need to put a tick in the "exact" box and see what the numbers are then.

Agreed, make sure you have your search set to exact, broad just means it can be any search which contains those words.

I agree with Fermina and i feel it’s very important to do keyword research before you jump in and buy a domain name. The process of researching keywords helps you not only understand the search behavior of your target customers, but also really helps you see which keyword phrases are actually being searched for by your prospects. If you are struggling to come up with a domain name, this step should help your creative juices some. You just might uncover some keyword phrases you’d not even considered. And these phrases might get your brain to start thinking of other possible domain names that had never entered your mind.

Get both. Make keywordkeyword.com the actual site. Redirect keyword-keyword.com to keywordkeyword.com.

Hang on a second Ralf, he's got results for broad match, he shouldn't buy anything until he's got the results for exact match.
