Advice for my first Product...

I could do with some advice on my first product packaged pls.

I have created 7 day video courses, with workbooks and cheatsheets on:
  • Social Media (as a whole)
  • Email Marketing
  • Blogging
  • Twitter
  • Facebook
  • Linkedin
  • YouTube

I have emails written and was going to be putting these on my site for people to purchase online training.

Would I be better off....

A) Offering the first one for FREE then each of the others costing $XX individually

...or...

B) Dive into CB, set up the first one for $XX with an upsell to get the entire set for $XX?

...or...

C) Offer a members site with them all in, with other material and downloads, on a 14 day trial for $XX with recurring billing of $XX each month after 14 days?

The best idea is the option 3. It works better than the two.

Do not go with Option 3 unless you can come up with a strong proposition for why people will continued to be billed month after month, otherwise they will drop off and you'll never see them again.

However, if you promise them another video each month combined with a corresponding tool, case study, deep-dive coaching call, etc... then membership site would be a good model.

Whichever model you use, you can benefit from having a pre-sales funnel that includes a) a video that talks about the features and benefits of your training b) ideally some testimonials or proof that your training is of benefit to your market and c) a sample of your training - could be a giveaway of something you have already done, another video you produce...etc

Finally, I would advise you put some strong positioning around the suite of videos you have - something that ties all of these together in the mind of the prospect - if the main focus of using these tools is to generate traffic, then focus on that. If the main focus is on converting prospects into customers, then focus on that. Focus on what RESULT buying your videos will achieve for your prospect and you will sell more.

Membership site is an excellent idea but delivering new and quality content every month is not an easy task. Think about it first. Plan you contents for say about 3 to 4 months in advance and then start. If you feel that you cannot deliver quality content beyond a certain point of time then go in for fixed term membership.
