I started the day, by getting out of bed opening up all my presents, then getting ready to go to the pub for my Christmas dinner. Just got home and I'm absolutely stuffed. The better half is now trying to make me sit through mamma mia.

  Got out of bed, opened presents with kids, woke up (in that order), stuck some warpaint on and took the kids to feed the ducks at the moat behind our house, while husband started cooking the dinner. Came home and watched a film with the kids, ate dinner and then drank beer until the kids fell asleep for a bit and the adult lightweights passed out. Bored, so started doing a bit of yoga.
  
  Decided I was too trollied for yoga and sneaked on here instead while everyone else is sleeping off round one
  
  Nice pictures, Winston. One of my best friends is from Hong Kong and she can't wait to get back there every year. I think she only does it so that she can gloat about how much it rained here while she was gone

  It is, isn't it? It's not our moat though, lol. It belongs to the ruins of a massive old castle, all that's left of the castle is a huge field where it used to stand, about a foot high of wall running around the field, and the moat. There are countless ducks there, herons, and fish that are almost as big as the ducks are. Even at this time of year it's beautiful, and in the summer it's idyllic. You'd never think that there was a gigantic out-of-town hypermarket just beyond it!

We were going to go to the theme parks today, but my wife's father died a few days ago so it put a little wrench in that plan. We got back from Colorado yesterday, exhausted, and just slept until a couple of hours ago. We don't celebrate xmas, so to us it isn't a significant day, just another Thursday. My mom and brother called to see if me, my wife, and my two daughters want to go grab something to eat for dinner, so we're planning to go get some chinese buffet (Yum!) soon.

Maybe we'll hit the casino for a bit.
