My Strategy to Make Mucho Dinero online!

Here is a strategy that has worked for me that I wanted to share with other warriors. Let me know what you think and what strategy you use.

  • Start a lot of sites (say 10) at once that are MICRO niche and very easy to rank for. You want low competition keywords and exact match domains
  • Once these sites are ranking well and getting some traffic test different monetization methods on them until you find something that works. I use adsense and Amazon mostly
  • Now from these ten sites you likely have 2 or 3 that make decent money - Congrats you have found a few niches that are more profitable than the others, now WORK up
Now that you have a few good earning MICRO niches, you go a step up to niche sites, make a few and monetize them

If these sites earn good money you should now make an authority domain. You can use the PR and traffic from your micro niche site and niche site to send traffic and PR to your authority domain.

example - Here is how you could work UP the niche ladder. A terrible example, but you will get the idea of what I am talking about

  • Micro-niche site - redleatherdogcollar.com, blueleatherdogcollar.com
  • Niche site - leatherdogcollar.com
  • Authority site - dogcollars.com
So if red leather dog collar made good money you can make the blue one, if that is also profitable you can go after something more difficult, and if that is succesful you can make an authority domain!

What do you think, this method works well for me. Do you have a method you use?

Thanks for that strategy. Its definitely a tried and true method to making passive income online with websites. The key is volume and scale to make it really produce though.

Cool, nice to see it working in other niches. I have used it in the dog niche and the parenting niche. I am always interested to hear about other niches that work!

I search within my niches just using my imagination and using the google keyword tool. I try to think what people might search for and punch in a bunch of search phrases, google keyword tool usually produces some I wouldn't think of.

You only really have to worry about what the first page of google looks like

          • PR
          • backlinks to the page
          • Backlinks to the domain
          • If any there are any easy to beat domains there
If I see an EMD with only 5-10 backlinks I know I can take that spot so I go for it!

Not a bad strategie. I have a similar one; however, I target niches within small (one-man) business keywords (ie. mortgages/realtors) in city centres of populations no more than 80,000. I get them to rank easily. Then call up a local mortgage broker or realtor and they pay me the $100 to have the site forward to them

Yep, this is similar to what I do. I usually don't make sites for micro niches, but I do start off with smaller sites with just a few pages. Once I'm seeing some momentum I work more on them until they're eventually quite large (and, I like to think, authoritative). I think that's what most people do, so your method is a bit more unique.

Interesting approach, I like starting with micro niche because it helps me gauge how successful the niche and authority sites may be.

It would be hard to take a niche site and make it an authority site, like turning a site about training poodles into an authority dog training site, you basically have to stay in the poodle training niche.

For that approach you would have to register a generic domain, focus on a niche and then expand as the site gets more and more traffic

I use almost the same strategy. (besides adsense and amazon) it has been working pretty great for me but I am always open to new strategys, as any good marketer is.

Interesting strategy. But would it be too tedious to work on those websites?

No the micro niche sites and niche sites are built, link building is done and then no new content needs to be added (when done correctly) for the niche sites I outsource the writing and writers add fresh valuable content for between $.50 - $3 per post (depending on the niche and how much the site is making)

It's called a blog farm network.
    • Authority site = Money Site;
    • Niche Site = Support Blog (about a dozen, link to Money Site);
    • Micro-Niche site = Blog Farm site
Same concept but the linking strategy is important and the niche, and micro niche sites should be on mixed platforms. It's a little involved but if you just go into it blindly without some research as to how to set them up, you could lose a whole bunch of them in one shot.

Btw, in choosing the topic of the niche, use Google's "The Wonder Wheel" because that shows how Google sees keyword relationships. Just go to your Google account and look in the left sidebar for Wonder Wheel or "More Tools" and the rest should be easy to figure out.

    Best wishes,
    Eric

So would like "jetskitraining" be considered a niche site?

Does the adsense income on the micro niche sites pay for the domains?

ie. If you have 10 domains costing you between $70 and $100 a year in domain fees plus hosting... does the average adsense income on the 10 sites alone tend to cover these costs for you?

    Thanks for sharing this..

I've used this same strategy in the past and it WORKS.

Don't underestimate due to it's simplicity.

    Cheers,
