I need to have images on my gallery.....

Hello Warriors,

I can't add media files from my computer, I have to do it the other way which is from url.

This is the error message, "LesserSlaveCamping.png" has failed to upload due to an error!

The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/sunsetpa/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2010/11.

I need to have images on my gallery for I am using the sexyCycle
for my slideshow.

I have researched quite a few solutions but I don't have the luck yet of sorting this out.

All ideas are welcome.

Thanks,
MagicLouie

Check you permissions on the uploads folder. 755 should work.

Settings>Media>Uploading Files>Store uploads in this folder, verify the path is wp-content/uploads
If it's already set to that, you could try entering the complete url path

If that doesn't work, you could try recreating the uploads folder. Caution, make sure you have a backup of all your media before deleting and recreating. Set the initial permissions to 777, make a successful upload and then change to 755.

    Other things to check
Make sure the maximum file size is set correctly. You can do this through cPanel>PHP Configuration (or check with hosting/support). Default is usually 64M.
