Making $100 Per Day - What You NEED To Do To Make It Happen

Hello All.....

The question that I would like to start this thread off with is this:

Is making $100 per day your goal with internet marketing?

I know that many IMers, especially the ones with years of experience, scoff at such discussions. They'd rather focus on what specific actions should be taken that will result in measurable improvements (ie. more visitors, more sales, etc).

And that's fine. But I believe that at times you still need to talk about the "why"s of making internet money and not just the "how"s. This is especially true for newbies or people that have been at it for YEARS with little to show for it.

Motivation ==> Action ===> Results

Just wanted to throw that out there. There are plenty of threads on how to increase conversion rates, tips on writing articles, questions on better SEO practices, etc.

This thread is going to be about the mindset of making $100 per day.

If you're making $100 per day and would like to share how you did it, that would be great. The newbies and struggling would appreciate any bit of IM gold that they can get their hands on. And I'm sure that they'll slap your "Thanks" button to show their appreciation.

Why it's important to have a specific goal

Whether your personal goal is $100/day or $500/day or $25/day, they're all equally beneficial. If you are not making a consistent amount of income per day, then I highly recommend that you pick a specific number, any number, and focus on that. Write it out. Stick it on your computer monitor. Stick it on your refrigerator. Stick it on your bathroom mirror. Stick it on your walls. Stick in on the steering wheel of your car. Stick it anywhere you will see it multiple times throughout the day. Get that specific goal, whatever it is, carved into your brain.

Why?

The subconscious mind is one of the most powerful tools that you have. It's much more powerful than you can imagine. But like a computer, it needs specific commands. The more specific, the more "energy" it has to make that command a reality.

Most people feel or think the thought: "I want to make money online" or "I want to make more money online." But these thoughts are not specific enough to get the subconscious mind into gear. It needs a more defined command.

Instead, give it the command:

"I make $100 per day online."

You flood your mind with this command. Every day. All day. If you have to, take out a piece of paper each morning, I make yourself write this command on each line. Both sides. Day after day.

It does take discipline. It does get boring at times. It is tedious. That's why most people can't do it for more than a few days.

But what if you could? What would happen?

Eventually this command would be so ingrained in your subconscious mind. And here's where the "magic" happens.

Your subconscious mind will see the inconsistency in your reality. It will have your command burned into it ("I make $100 per day online") but also see that your reality doesn't match the command. So what does it do?

Your subconscious mind starts to provide you with the motivation and ideas necessary to make your reality match your command.

You see, the subconscious mind, although incredibly powerful, is not necessarily intelligent. It doesn't use logic. So when it sees the difference between your command and your reality, it doesn't think, "I hear the command but I understand why the reality is the way it is."

Instead, it sees the difference, and then gets to work trying to make your reality match up with your command.

Very few people ever figure out how to access the power stored in their subconscious. But if you could, you'd be amazed by the wealth of drive and ideas that you would get.

If you want to make $100/day, then your goal then is to convince your subconscious mind that your reality is that you are making $100 a day online.

It doesn't happen instantly. It doesn't even happen quickly. And that's why most people NEVER get to tap into the immense power stored inside of them. You have to put the effort in, day after day, even when you are not seeing or feeling anything differently.

That's the unique quality of successful people. They still continue to take the correct actions even when they aren't seeing the results of their efforts. Most people stop prematurely. Most people never work hard and long enough to see the other side of the rainbow. You've just got to have faith. You have to keep pushing on, knowing that as long as you keep taking the rights steps, you will get to the top of the mountain (even if you can't see the top yet).

Don't get me wrong. Learning as much of the "how"s is definitely critical to your success. But if you truly want to speed up the process. If you truly want to get the amazing power of your subconscious mind behind you, pushing you ahead, you've got to convince your subconscious to "believe" the command that you are wanting to be your reality.

The Warrior Forum is packed with the "how"s. Not just in terms of the information shared, but also the experience and knowledge of its members. But I highly recommend you start "training" your subconscious mind. Whatever method works best for you. Do it. Burn that command into your subconscious. Tap into its power.

I make $100 a day online!!!

It's the best advice that I can you. Whether you are a newbie just starting out, or an "old-timer" who has struggled for years.

Do the mental work, and the physical rewards will come.

And when you do tap into the subconscious and finally taste success, please come find me and share your story. I'd love to hear about it. There's no greater joy than hearing about someone who was down, took actions, and raised themselves up out of the ashes of failure, into the mountains of success.

Thank you for listening to my words. I truly hope that you get a little inspiration from them.

Now go out and start making good choices. Make today AWESOME!

Best wishes,

JoeMack

Another psychologist? Nicely written and some good pointers. The mind is something not to be underestimated. The subconscious is indeed a powerful tool to work with.

A lot of people do think this stuff you just explained is not true and emotional garbage. I hope these people just try and see what will happen next.

  • Another thing you can do is visualize yourself making that $100 a day. imagine your account growing at $100 per day. Thoughts + Feelings = Manifestation. But feeling good is the most important thing you can do. Feeling good will cause the universe to bring more things that will make you feel good. Most people think the Law of Attraction is just hype but most people are not getting the results they desire are they? Want to blame someone for not being successful ? Look at the man in the mirror like Micheal says.

      Good post.

If you're not making a decent profit, there's no need to be in business. Even if you can't immediately quit your 9 to 5 job, if you can at least pick up some extra money to give you breathing room, that's great.

As other members have said, it's good to have realistic expectations when you first start out. But you don't want to aim too low.

        Quick start guide,

Going offline is one of the fastest methods, I know off for building 100 DAD.

        1) Set your mindset for succes offline
        2) Get John Durhams Telemarketing report vol. 1, read it and absorp
        3) Get a call list for 5 D at fiverr or squezee a member of WF for 1000 contacts.
        4) Sell one simpel WP-blog to a small business owner for 499.
        5) Hire a frelllancer to build the website for 250 and put 249 in your packet each day.
        6) Set up a hosting monthly hosting fee of 30 DAM and a mant. fee of 100 DAM.
        Combined discount price 125 DAM.

        Your goal !
Get one new customer each day on the phone.

        INVEST:

        One month selling fees is 20 X 249 = 5000 (4980)

Take 20 % equal 1000 dollars and invest them in two small already money making websites ...

This will add 4 DAD at least to your income. Do this for four months in a row, and your will subsequently be making 20 DAD in extra income.

Your income picture on a monthly basis will estimated look like this:

        1) 20 websites sold a month = 5000 dollars
        2) 80 businessowners hosting fees = 2400 dollars
        3) 20 business owners maintenance fees = 2000 dollars
        4) 8 websites making 20 DAD = 600 dollars

        Thats 10 K a month - and way more than 100 DAD.

When you are making 5K or 10 K a month, hire a salesman on commison basis and start selling two websites a day. Set the price for 699 D.
250 for the designer, 250 for the seller and 200 for your self.

Get the picture,,,, expand and outsource + build your internal staff. ( support )

Eventually, hire a coach or a business consultant....

        Good luck,
        LASSE

And what does $100 per day mean to you...monetarily?

If you are into affiliate marketing:

    A $25 commission is 4 sales a day....
    A $50 commission is 2 sales a day...
    A $100 comission is 1 sale a day...

If you are into Adsense income.....

One site with average $1.00 clicks means 100 clicks a day...
Five sites with average $1.00 clicks means 20 clicks for each site a day....

One site with average $0.25 clicks means 400 clicks a day....
Five sites with average $0.25 clicks means 80 clicks for each site a day...

If you are into CPA offers.....

CPA offers with $5.00 payouts means 20 leads per day....
CPA offers with $2.50 payouts means 40 leads per day....
CPA offers with $1.00 payouts means 100 leads per day....

The more details that you know about how you will be reaching $100 per day, the easier it will be to "convince" your subconscious mind.

Hey JoeMack, This may be too personal and if you'd prefer not to say that's absolutely fine - but just wondering, do you make $100 a day? And f so, do you attribute it to thinking in this way?

I've read and seen a lot of this type of motivational stuff (think "the secret"), and although I know, through personal experience, that by focusing all your efforts on accomplishing a single goal you can achieve great things. I don't know - when people present information like this it sometimes feels like their just saying it because it's what people want to hear - it's nice to know that you can blame your subconcious for not working if you're not making money. Do you know what I mean?

        Jack...

Naw, you're not being too personal. I totally understand the question.

But yes, I do average over $100 per day. Not saying that every day it's over $100, but it definitely averages out to that much. So I may make $120 one day, $85 the next, then $290, then $69, then $110, and so forth.

As they say, I have lots of lines in the pond. Meaning, I try to generate income in a variety of different ways. I do consulting (online and offline). I do freelance work. And I have a portfolio of blogs and websites that make me a passive income (these are my FAVORITE sources of income).

And within my portfolio, I have my own products. I make moeney with Adsense and Amazon. I also make money with Clickbank, and about 5 different CPA directories.

I just LOVE having money coming at me from so many different directions.

When I first started out, I hit a homerun with a product that I created. But I had all my eggs inthat basket, so to speak. And when eBay changed its rules, my business went from $2500+ a month to zero. Just like that.

I am NEVER going to let that happen to me again.

Although I have been working online since 2003 and am not a beginner anymore, I do think this thread is important for all those out there who are just starting.

For me, I had a motivating factor as to why I wanted to work online and make an income; but that motivation was not strong enough to push me to work hard. Instead I had to listen to music that talked about exactly what I was going through/feeling(that thing that motivated me). I did this for about 6-9 months daily, and in that short amount of time I was making more than my goal was. It really works. So while sticky notes work for some, for others we have other methods. I hope this helps.

Shifting my mindset resulted in a huge leap forward for me and my I.M career. It came when U did a little self assessment. I wanted to know why I wasn't experiencing the results I felt like I should be seeing. I mean I had all of the necessary skills, so what was going wrong?

    The answer? Mindset!

I immediately set lots of short term targets and began to work my way towards each one. As soon as I hit one I would celebrate a little with a reward. A night out, clothes or maybe a day off. Then I would get straight back to it and work towards the next target.

I still do it now. Still works!

    Best,

Why it's important to have a specific goal

Whether your personal goal is $100/day or $500/day or $25/day, they're all equally beneficial. If you are not making a consistent amount of income per day, then I highly recommend that you pick a specific number, any number, and focus on that. Write it out. Stick it on your computer monitor. Thanks Joe for this thread.

I think I read something like that in a Silva Method a while ago, you write things down idk about 20 times a day as if they are already happening or what you want to happen. Everyday till you reach your goal.

You mentioned that people may find it boring and tedious to write a command of their goal on a piece a paper on each line both sides each day.

I have noticed that you also live in Michigan, we've been hit very hard on these economic changes. But what i find tedious and boring is going out looking for a job and applying everywhere without getting a phone call or no one would give me chance to meet up with me to find out what kind of worker I am and what I have to offer. Now that's a tragic.

The message you are sending here is that YOU are in control of YOUR own destiny. And thats the best feeling in the world, if that doesn't get people motivated I don't know what will.

Best of luck to everyone here

    Lea

Great post and discussion. I have another activity to add which I haven't read here. I think its from Demartini. Write down 1000 reasons why you are going to do something and deserve something. So I have been stuck at a certain level and have recently decided to ramp it up. Its a really hard activity to do, but once you have completed it you have inspiration and motivation to get out there and crush those goals.

I started IM since last february, every month I always make new milestone for my IM work and write it on my little whiteboard and place it on the wall in front of my bed. Before I go off to bed I always read them and think what strategies that will works to finish my milestones. And right until now every milestones that I write on my white board always finish smoothly and its incredible.

Here are few milestones that I create on my whiteboard

    April
-Make website that will generate $1 per day from adsense
-Find good writer that will create article with just $3 per article
-Optimize website to get page one with my chosen keyword

    May
    - Get higher CTR for one of my website to get $3 per day
    - Optimize 2 articles on my website to get page one on google

    June
    - Make $5/day from my health site
    - Create authority site about technology
    - Hire writer to write content for my health site

And even June is still going I already achieve my first June's milestone which is gain $5/day from my health site. I suggest for IM fellows to create tiny milestone first then double it to gain more profit from your website. Hope it helps

I currently make around $70 a day on one of my websites on average. There has been a few days that I have made over $100 in 1 day, and that's a HUGE accomplishment for me

I'm a newbie when it comes to online marketing but I've learned so much by reading blogs and ebooks online. I didn't take it seriously before because I thought it's too complicated for me but I did try it. When I started to make money online, I was encouraged. I work 8 hours a day 6 days a week in an office and just one week ago I finally found the courage to quit my job to have more time for this. I guess I just have to work harder this time to make it work. It really motivates me when I read posts about how people make a decent income online.

This is any absolutely beautiful thread you've started and I did exactly what you listed out with the 5 bucks a day program. It shows you how to use all of your own resources and then scale them up to the point where you have multiple streams of income.

I love the program and just a quick tip for any newbies who may see this: the first way I made money was by messaging about ten people on Fiverr who needed somewhat easy gigs to be performed and it was the day after that i finally started getting responses.

The first gig I completed was an email that a guy wanted me to make for him so he could add his product into a competitors course since the competition was too much in his industry.

I'll never forget that day when I completed the gig and I've been going so much harder on my online endeavors since then, I hope this encourages anyone who may be struggling.

Thank you very much for the post. I agree completely to what you said.
I think for me, the biggest challenge right now is to stay focused on the present moment and not think about the future. That is, my mind would start to race and think about what it will be like when I start making $100 a day, instead of focusing on making $100 a day right now. The result would be I end up making nothing.

      Hi...

Actually, I think that it's a good idea to "daydream" a little bit. Not saying that you should just do that. But one effective way to convince your subconscious mind of the reality that you want is to visualize in great details EXACTLY how you want your life to be.

The key to doing this is to give yourself a time limit. Say, ok, for the next 30 minutes, I am going to lay on the catch, close my eyes, and visualize all the different aspects of my "perfect" life. Visualize everything, not just how you make money. Visualize your house, your car, your happy family, the travel you will do, the people you could help, everything.

And when that 30 minutes are over, make yourself take at least one action that will take you one step closer to that life. Write an article. Do some blog commenting. Add a new page to your blog. Email that Internet marketer about doing a JV. Write a couple pages of your ebook. Do something after 30 minutes of visualization.

Keeping your head in the clouds too often is an ineffective use of your time. Doing some detailed, power visualization will definitely help you get to where you want to go faster.

      Best wishes,

Hi, first thanks a bunch for your motivation dose

Would this be a good example for more illustration:

"Politicians use this all the time, they tend to REPEAT their pathetic lies over & over again.what then happens is they then firmly BELIEVE in what they are preaching as well as their audience, all that is due to the repetition of something regardless if It's true or not, the BELEIVING occurs which is one step closer to REALITY"

I really like the simple mantra from Joseph Murphys Power of your subconcious mind where you repeat: Wealth Success.

Problem with most affirmations and mantras is that it is really hard to keep remembering to repeat them. You have to really train yourself to be self disciplined enough to remember to do them.

It's best to make out a daily chart and track your progress and then later on it becomes second nature and easy to remember to do them.

The major issue though is when you are feeling awful because of what ever problems are going on in life - you just dont feel like doing them and it is really hard work to stay motivated.

Seems quite fun, I was just reading the post and then I set the target of selling 4 of my Wordpress based Products daily and just implemented adsense to my another website which I had launched 2 years ago and almost forgot about. As it was a User Generated Site it was alexa 200000 currently. I thought how effectively one can monetize by current resources. Thanks JoeMack...

Excellent advice! It's just like when you drive a car they tell you to look in the direction that you want to turn and then your body movements will follow. Same things goes with success in life. You will NEVER hit a target that you are not first looking (aiming) at!

I think you might be on to something here. I remember reading a quote from Muhammad Ali that went something like this "If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it - then I can achieve it." Something like that.

People often quit within an inch of success. Remember the gold rush story?

Keep taking the right steps even if the results aren't evident right from the off!

    Keep the faith!

The same process should occur. If you do a good enough job convincing your subconscious mind about just about anything that you want, you should get the same motivation, ideas, etc, from it.

I have read and heard a lot of stuff on this recently. I definitely agree with it being key to get your mind right before anything else. I am certainly becoming more aware of what role my mindset plays in my business. I like your approach of relentlesly writing your goal out every day.

I have, however, found it difficult at times to focus on goal setting and often get distracted into doing other things but have definitely found when I've had goals, I tend to get more success.

I think persistence is the key and as long as I can make the mindest part, whether it be writing down goals, meditating etc, a habitual part of my day, I will be well on my way to achieving whatever goals I set myself.

        Great Post OP!

Couldn't agree more, you need to get your subconscious on board. However, it maybe useful for those that havent made a dollar online to actually have affirmations of making a simple dollar a day and then scale up once reaching that goal.

If you have never read the book "Write It Down - Make It Happen", I'd definitely recommend it. There, you'll learn all sorts of different goal setting exercises. I picked up a lot of different methods from that book alone.

What I like to do is write out a general "to do list" every night. Then, I try to adhere to that the next day. Sometimes I'll add some additional tasks that don't necessarily need done that day. I find when I do this, I'm not as disappointed when I don't finish everything on the list, because in most cases, I accomplished what I initially set out to do in the first place - anything else is just a bonus.

Either way, by writing things out the night before, it helps me subconsciously create a workable plan that allows me to stay focused on the tasks at hand.

Good post. My $100+ days come from content writing (article, reports, ebooks, courses) and from manual link building. Lots of ways to do it, some cost money some don't. Better to start with something you can do quick and cheap then step into the bigger picture.

If I was making $100 a day from Internet marketing, I would be seriously depressed. There TONs of money to be made out there - billions of dollars in product sales, billions of dollars in affiliate payouts, billions of dollars in CPA network payouts...billions of dollars in ad revenue...and a whole lot more.

If you set your target at $100 a day, it is likely that you will end with just that. Set a real target - at least $1000 a day - and figure out a strategy to make it happen. It's not that hard...really.
