Copied Content - What would you do?

As a new Internet Marketer I've encountered my first situation of copied content. Effectively received a pingback last night and when I checked it the site that had sent the pingback was a blog that is registered to an SEO company doing work for a client.

How would you handle it?
a) Request a take-down
b) Ask them to edit it back and take the pingback
c) Ignore it and move on.

Thanks

I would tell them to take it down immediately. I'd contact the server as well to notify them that the site uses stolen content.

Copyright infringement is becoming rampant and can no longer be overlooked.

    Hey.....

I have written and published hundreds and hundreds of articles. Copyright infringment is going to happen. And it's going to happen a lot.

You can go through the time and energy to tryand get them to remove it. But even if you do, it will happen again....and again...and again.

I know that it isn't fair. But that's just the reality for article marketers.

I would instead spend the time and effort writing new articles.

Just my 2 cents. I have had dozens of articles "stolen." I don't even check anymore for it.
