Hi, I have been on the internet for about 3 years now trying to make a living for me and my family, i am a member of chris farrell membership site and i have learned a lot from him and hes site. I have also picked a few tips up along the way. I really want to quit my current job for IM but i can't get any sales, i have downloaded lots of free and paid ebooks and videos but they never work for me because they are all different and my mind is everywere.
What i want is some kind of info i can follow and will work, i only have a few hours a week to work on it aswell. please tell me what you recommend

I think you answered your own question:

hey never work for me because they are all different and my mind is everywere.
Pick something that makes sense to you and focus on it, don't go half way and skip around. Dedicate yourself to one thing and keep working at it you're probably not going to get sales right away but if you allow that to discourage you and then switch to another method you're never going to get anywhere.

Good luck, you can do it!

That is something I can testify to----jumping around from one thing to another, never picking one or two things and going all out to make them work. There is a constant stream of new products, new services, other gurus, but eventually you have to FOCUS on one thing and stick to it.

I completely agree with Noble . I have just one more advice to add .get a mentor . Someone you can keep you accountable and keep you focus on the one skill you decide to choose .It is very important .A SUCCESSFUL mentor would save you a lot of time and keep you accountable and help get to your destination much easier than you would on your own .Choose your mentor carefully >the person must have integrity and you must be to keep contact for at least once a month to measure your progress

Just Focus on one niche, a micro niche.
and do every thing for it use directory submission, social bookmarking, article submission SEO etc for that site (micro niche)
and wait for the traffic to flush into it. :-)
    good luck,Remember a micro niche

First, I would suggest you to keep your job in the meantime. Making money online isn't something that is easy due to fierce competition that you are going to face. If you plan to work as an affiliate, I would suggest you to have a website where you can drive targeted traffic to and make sales.

Having a site is not that hard, you can create a blog and then add content as well as monetize it. But, the most difficult part is going to be how do you drive targeted traffic to your site? There are various methods that you can use to achieve that the two most effective seem to be getting traffic free from search engines and pay per click advertising.

Getting traffic from search engines is not easy, your site must have top ranking for some of your targeted keywords if you really need to get decent amount of traffic. I would suggest you to learn much more about the issue of search engine optimization.

I have been in the same situation as you where, I also have been in this niche for 3 years without any solid results. Honestly, the issue here is a overwhealming influx on information It was frustrating to me too. Then I realized that I needed to treat this like a business. So please hear me out,

    1. You need a solid plan that you will commit to yourself 2 hours a day. I cannot tell you which one is the best because that depends on your goals and niches that you choose to go for. I have one coach that I trust his name is William Souza. He focuses on PPC and product creation. These are my sources that I chose to excel in because he built his business around them.

    2. Keeping focused is key. Dont jump from sales letter to sales letter. If that means unsubscribing from "Gurus" then do it now. You have to decide how you want to make money.

    3. Keep focused on 1 niche.
The best way to start is doing research on a niche to see if it is profitable. The War room has plenty of resources to get you started on finding a niche.
Then once you find one, you need to build a simple business plan of how you will monetize in your niche

    4. Understand that it will take time and money to make this work.

These are a few tips to help you get a better understanding. Hope this helps

  • Have you thought of or heard of PLR material? You can use PLR to build yourself a list and monetize it. Are you list building? List Building is going to be the best way to grow your biz. Just sending people to a sales page is not very effective. You need to build a list and develop a relationship with them and get them to know you, like you, and trust you. If you can do this, it will be alot easier to sell to your list over and over again. Of course you must be over delivering on the value end of it. Try packaging a bunch of info together and set up a WSO. If you need to learn how to build a list the right way check out my signature link.
