1 Large ebook as a product or 3 seprate ones and package?

I'm getting ready to start creating a new product in the dog market, and I have a lot of information. I'm wondering if I should create just one large ebook or break it down into three smaller ones and bundle them together which might make the product have more perceived value? I'm not sure.

Any opinions about this would be greatly appreciated. I personally think it would make things easier for the customer to have the information broken down into smaller ebooks instead of just adding different sections to the book. Maybe I could also sell each one separately in a series? I also think it would raise perceived value. I'm also thinking about possibly adding one or two videos to the mix. Please let me know what you think! Thanks in advance.

Provided there was sufficient demand for all three products I'd sell try to sell them individually. You can then bundle the remaining two products together and offer them as a One Time Offer to buyers of the first product.

You can (theoretically repeat this 3 times is different combinations).

If they don't buy the OTO then you can use an email follow-up to sell the other reports individually in the future...albeit for a higher price.

Finally... if you found that some just weren't selling and too much hassle... you've got a nice bonus report you can add to the others to bump the value (and maybe the price).

    Hope that's of some use?!

A lot of people these days are interested in knowing how to solve one specific problem rather than read up on a comprehensive manual of everything there is to know about a subject. So breaking the large ebook up is a good idea. In fact, people are more likely to read it if it's only 15 pages, as opposed to 60 pages...

Yeah I was thinking along these lines too. But I was thinking about possibly bundling up all 3 products and adding possibly a video or two. This might increase the value. So like have 3 ebooks and 2 videos on the subject.

Or you could offer the buyer a choice. If they want to only read up on one particular problem area they're having instead of buying the whole bundle offer them the separate ebooks. But also put a bundle on your website and offer a discount for the whole bundle as opposed to buying them separately.

This one seems to be the best all around Idea I agree giving the buyer more options in the end will help your business.

I'm just getting into product creation myself, how are you selling the e-books/videos? Clickbank? Paypal? Hope you don't mind me asking I was just wondering which you prefer.

I have to agree break it up into smaller more focused ebooks. Creating focused need satisfying videos would add some value as well since they provides instant gratification. I'm getting ready to create my 1st product and I was going to make a small ebook with a few accompanying videos as well. Hope it goes well for ya.

Yeah I vote breaking them up into different eBooks for each topic.

    Example:

    Dog Grooming
    Dog Obedience
    Dog Health

And bundle them all together into one product for more percieved value.

Also provide additional videos and whatever else you can think of to bump up the value while keeping the price low.

    Good luck with the launch.

One thing I'm not sure you all understand is that the product or product are all concerning one subject but have different sections. For example I could write an ebook about dog grooming, and offer an ebook on bathing, another one on nail trimming etc. By the way this is not the dog subject I'm going to be using .

Anyway, it's all one subject, just different sections of the same subject and I though since I have a lot of information I could break it down into a few different ebooks and maybe add video. I hope that provides more clarification.

Definitely adds more value to include a video and/or audio version. Good luck with it!

Thanks! But do you think it adds more value to break up the product into 3 different ebooks?

While any of the above methods work, I would suggest making them into a product funnel. You start out with a small report then offer one of the 3 products.

Then a video course as another product, free email advice, second ebook offer..ect the possibilities are real endless
