In which Niche do I build a list on??

Hi guys..

I have been doing pretty well with my list in the IM niche and now I want to move onto other niches.

I am looking to promote Clickbank products and I wanted to ask lucrative niches on which I can build a list and promote.

Thanks

    Hi

I think the best strategy is to pick something that you know about; this is important as you need to enjoy writing about it and also it is much easier to think of things to write about.

Some people start with products first and then build a list to sell it but I prefer to pick the topic I am interested in and then find products to promote in that niche. There are always products to sell.

Great news about the IM, how many have you got on that list?

They are ALL lucrative niches. But I would recommend buying the products yourself before promoting them.

Cake decorating is a sure fire winner.

      I agree - that's solid advice.

I would also recommend that you not build an entire site around just a single product but rather around a small niche that has a dozen or more products as well as related sub-niches that you can expand into over time. Same advice on the domain - go niche specific, but not product specific.

      Hope that helps...

For example pick a niche, any niche. Say in cooking. Build a site around products such as cake decorating (my favorite ). There's at least 23 related products right there. From there you can even expand into closely allied categories such as deserts, main courses, recipes, etc. Possibilities are endless in every Clickbank market.

I also think cake decorating is the way forward.

  • In which Niche do I build a list on??
Whichever niche you have actually something to offer. You MUST add and provide value. Otherwise, why would they buy from you? That means that it's got to be a niche you're familiar with.

Stick to a niche that you find interesting or have some knowledge on, there is nothing worse then having to write reviews on products you have no idea about. The content wont be as great for the visitor.

There's two kinds of niches - desperation niches and hobby niches. Desperation niches are ones where people are looking for a problem to relieve a pain they are having. Examples are anti aging skin care, back pain relief, acme treatment, hair loss prevention etc.

Hobby niches are ones where people have dumb money to spend, where the people are irrationally passionate about a hobby they have. These are things like golf, coin collecting, wine making...

Ultimately choose one that is at the intersection of your passion, profit and skill. It's not enough to simply do what you love if there's no market for it.

Start out by going through Clickbank and look under the different catagories and try to find niches with a minimum of 5 products you can promote, I would go higher 8 or more. Also remember to check out the products sales pages before you decide anything.

Now find a bullet point you could create a short report to let affiliates sell for 100% on the front end or just make a free product and try to drive traffic yourself.

If you don't know squat about the niche consider getting some PLR articles or something to put into your autoresponder.

I don't go for small niches when looking for building lists.

You aren't gonna focus on SEO anyways
