I heard today that icontact limit the amount of times per month that you can mail your list to just 6.
Are there any warriors on here using icontact that can confirm or deny this as 6 seems a pretty low figure to me?
Cheers
Steve

I'm not using iContact but I highly doubt that they would limit a paying customer to mailing only 6 times. That seems stupid.

Maybe if you're on the trial account, they limit you...

Where did you hear this info?

I was chatting to a guy on skype earlier and it is what he had heard, not sure where from though. I agree it seems a little silly to resrict paying customers to such a piddly amount!

It is true that iContact only allows you to send 6 times a month with its base rate, no matter how many subscribers you have. If you need to send more than 6 messages, you will need to pay additional monthly fees over the base rate depending on your list size.

The amount of e-mail you can send via iContact is a
multiple of your maximum subscriber limit:

Email Marketing Strategy - iContact (no affil.)

    And directly from their site...

"With iContact, you pay a flat monthly fee for a level of subscribers and can email up to six times your subscriber limit each month. As an example, if you have a 10,000 subscriber plan, you can send up to 60,000 emails per month at no additional charge. If you need to send more than this, please give us a call at 1.866.803.9462 and we can increase this limit.
So, the number of times you can e-mail your list depends
upon the number of subscribers in your account and the
maximum subscribers allowed in the plan that you are using.
