Is the info overload starting to gel?

So I'm kind of slow when it comes to wrapping my head around some things.

This is my current plan. As I understand it Google sees each individual post in Wordpress as a separate page. So I'm thinking I'll find keywords that have very little number of searches / mo, maybe 100 to 300 and very low competition. Write very optimized short post targeting those keywords. No one post will get much traffic but if they're hitting page #1 then 20 or 50 post getting 20 or 30 hits a day should do something.

One of the biggest challenges I've found with IM is that there are sooo many different directions you can go in, it's very easy to waste a week or two on something that may not produce much. In fact writing a highly optimized 300 word post can easily take me a 2 or 3 or even 4 days by the time I have added images internal links h1, h2, h3 tags, keyword density etc. etc. plus any CSS styling I may want to add.

So I'm just wondering if there any thoughts on this plan, anything I may be missing?

Maybe you should hold off on advertising your online business opportunities in your sig until you get questions like this sorted out. Don't take offense, it's just a suggestion.

      Or not...

Actually those link to affiliate resources and as such they don't promote my personal expertise. In fact I'm thinking if we all waited until we were IM oracles then this forum would probably be pretty empty.

So am I to get from this that you don't really have anything to offer regarding the actual question?

        Hi Ron,

I actually outsource a lot of this as you're right, it takes up a lot of time and energy that could be spent better elsewhere.

I personally use vWorker and Fiverr dependent on the site/product etc but there are plenty of others around.

I think your tact is the right one however.

You can also get article spinning software and again outsource this as it can get pretty mind blowing - but not in a good way:rolleyes:

        Hope that helps,

        Michelle

Actually I have a couple of different spinning softwares and I believe I will get back to using those eventually but at the moment I'm thinking I should focus on carefully crafted content highly optimized for SEO.

          I appreciate you guys input.

I'm not trying to start an argument, but I do disagree. In this niche, I believe that people should have achieved the things that they are trying to teach before they teach them. The sales page on your link says, "If you can follow a plan and stick with it then you can build a fat 6 figure income using the internet." Have you achieved that or are you just teaching others to do it?

Hi - If it's taking you that long to write an article, I would definitely outsource that aspect.... regards Allen

PS You will also need to build some links to the page you have created...

Yes of course backlinks. I've been working on finding EDU sites with dofollow links, also I've got Scrapebox but at the moment I'm holding off on getting any more proxies for it until I have more content accumulated with better targeted keywords.

Ya know I looked at outsourcing and other avenues but I wasn't very satisfied with what I was getting. My goal at this point is to just get better at writing. Actually just the writing isn't that hard. I can write a 300 word article in about 15 to 20 minutes. It's the optimizing that takes all the time. Well, that and the phone calls and other distractions. But mostly I think it's the crafting the content to fit the SEO criteria. I'm using SEOpressor which seems to be really good at telling me the things I need to fix.

Then of course there is the formatting and styling. Oh and there is all the things I find in my site that I think I should tweak.
