Looking For WP Plug In

INTERNET MARKETING

Does anyone know of a plug in that you can suppress the page from being listed in the pages links? I know I have seen them, now that I am looking I can't find anything.

Hi Michael,

I don't know of a plugin for that (though I'd like to ) but one strategy I've used is to make a page a CHILD page of some other (hopefully related) parent page. Most BUT NOT ALL themes will automatically hide the child page - or at least give you the option to hide it.

You might get more responses to your question if you specify in your post title what type of plugin you're looking for. People who are scanning post titles may not be drawn to something as generic as 'Looking for WP Plug In'.

I use a plugin which enables me to select page by page whether it appears in the blog navigation - http://www.simonwheatley.co.uk/wordp...exclude-pages/

I've found it very useful for my blog.

In addition to the Plugins mentioned to do this, you can also do it directly in the coding or the widget.

If in your Nav Bar, just add the &exclude= and add the page number to exclude. If in your sidebar and using widgets, just open your page widget and enter the page #'s to exclude and save the changes.

And one with a little finer control than the exclude pages plugin is:
WordPress plugin: Flexi Pages Widget | Srini's WordPress Laboratory . Even thought the site says it runs up to wp 2.5, I have it running on wp version 2.6.3.

Exclude Pages or Hide Pages will both do the trick. Also, just exclude the page in your page template look for the list pages code (probably in your header.php or sidebar.php) and just add in the exclude code with the page number (in the example below the page number is 5).
<ul>
<?php wp_list_pages('exclude=5' ); ?>
</ul>
