    Hey man..

I don't blog myself, but I found this list with 7-10 posts on increasing blog traffic and commenting. Hope this helps

How to increase traffic and comments on your blog? - You'll have to scroll down a bit for the list.

Many blog owners have been where you are now. For visitors in your blog to comment then do this:

1.) Provide useful and quality content in your blog.

2.) Give reviews regarding using a particular product.

3.) At the end of your blog ask a question.

Keep in your mind while working on your blog that "Content is the king". Try to post article on your blog which attract people and like to comment on them.

To make a good comment first read the blog and after that make comment that should have some reference to the blog content.

One of the simplest ways to get people to do something is to just ask them. Encourage people to leave a comment, share their thoughts or opinions. It can also be handy to end your blog post with some sort of question that will get people commenting.

Offer up a goodie. Get some good PLR products, put up an image of one as the "Prize Of The Week." Write a short paragraph to explain what the prize does. Make it plain that whoever posts the best comment during the week gets the prize. That might motivate me to post where I might not otherwise. You'll also be building a list at the same time.

Having dozen of visitors in your blog without comments doesn't mean it has a problem. Maybe your visitor just want to read your blog. If you feel there's really a problem in it. Create a unique content to attract people and make them comment. Do some backlinks.

AFAIK blog commenting on sites related to the niche.... helps to attract majority of commentators towards your site. This method works for me !!

First of all, ask them to comment.

However, if they don't feel like they need to voice their opinion, they just wont.

Here's the key: Write like you actually care. That means having an opinion, being on one side or another.. Reading super-objective articles are boring as hell.

People reading your blog come for your opinion on things, not some megaobjective research on things.

Which one will draw more comments: "I like PS3 and XBox and wii and pc is good for gaming too", or "throw away your xbox, ps3 is in the town". I could probably sit longer and think of a better example, but I think I made my point
