Default Kind of lost.

I recently just found this forum if my join date is of any indication (It's like a giant utopia of knowledge, I swear. :P). And although I only have one e-book to my collection (The Rich Jerk) I'm still kind of lost on some of the procedures you have to go through.

Are clickbank affiliate sites a good way to start making money online? If so, what's a good way to market them and get traffic in.

Where the heck is the best place to find Public Domain Books?

What is the easiest way to start for a beginner?

Sorry if there's a giant guide on all this that says: FOR NOOBS, PLEASE READ FIRST.

I'm just kinda lost.

Hi, and welcome.

You are asking one heck of a set of questions.

One of the first things you can do is go through the Forum archives and look up topics that you want to know more about.

Check out the Warrior Special Offers (WSO) section, one of the options on the main page of the forum. There are many good products there that will help you. I don't know if he still has it available but one warrior was selling a public domain package that is massive - containing everything you'd ever need to get into public domain works. Look for Thomas Belknap's stuff.

Barring that, run a Google search for information - there is a ton out there both free and to buy.

I'm sure other Warriors will be able to give you more recommendations and product suggestions.

Thanks for the speedy reply.

I'll have a look at that, especially the public domain WSO and how to find niches.

Starting out can be one of the most overwhelming things for anybody, not
just when it comes to making money online, but anywhere in life.

There is no easy answer to your question because starting and running a
business online is a step by step process consisting of steps that are not
written in stone for any one person simply because the options are limitless.
There are so many different business models to choose from that no one
person can give you an answer that will include all of them.

The problem with picking out one business model or course of action is that
it may not be right for you.

So this is what I suggest.

Get yourself a coach if you can afford it. At the very least, get a hold of
somebody like Bev Clement here at the forum who specializes in making
business plans.

Try to come up with some kind of idea of what you want to do so you
have something to work with. Starting with your interests is probably the
best place to start.

This is probably not the answer you were hoping for but it's the best one
I can come up with.

This isn't a one size fits all world and what works for one person may not
work for you.

Hi Learnanew,

As Sylvia mentioned: "You are asking one heck of a set of questions"

A great way for everyone here to give you solid advice and point you in the right direction is to get an idea of the skills you have.

Have you setup a free wordpress.com or blogger.com site? If not, that's where I would start.

Give us a rundown on the skills you possess and I'm sure you will get a ton of suggestions on how to put those skills to good use, and suggestions on the things you should be learning/implementing next.

Sorry about the questions, sometimes my curiosity gets the best of me. It's not everyday someone shows you how to make money from the comfort of your chair .

I'm able to:

Write articles well.
Have moderate experience with photoshop.
Limited experience with Dreamweaver.
Able to use majority of Microsoft Office programs.
Provide money for hosting fee's/domain names.
Basic knowledge of HTML.

I set up a blogspot site for clickbank reviews to promote affiliate and hoplinks I would be getting but I'm sort of at a loss on what to do with it now.

Thanks again.

I made a squidoo page and posted an article on it telling people about the clickbank product, I also sent the article to ezinearticles.com and plan on writing lots more today, any other tips?

Also, do I direct traffic to my squidoo page or the affiliate link?

I'm stuck on what to do, what wso's to buy and where to direct buy traffic to.

Once I put my articles on ezinearticles.com, can I also resell them on sitepoint?

Ok Learnanew.

I'm not a guru, but I think that you are doind what I did. I found a product on clickbank, and then went crazy. There is all the time in the world for you.

Why not get some coffee, sit down, and write down your goals. What do you want to get from IM (internet Marketing!)? A bit of extra income, or a full-time job? How much time can you give to it? 10 hours a week? 3 hours a week?

Next think about your skills. You have said that you are good at writing, and from that you have decided to write an article about an affiliate product. No problems there...

Also, you may want to think about freelance writing right here on WF. People are always looking to pay a warrior to write for them.

The standard pay for someone just starting out is around $5 per 400 words. It may not sound like much, but if you post your ad in the classified ads or on the warriors for hire section, or maybe even in the main marketing section, you should get a lot of customers.

After you have got paid and written the article (in that order), try and get a testimonial. If you get enough good testimonials you can bump up your price to $7 per article, then $10 per article. The top gun copywriters earn around $25,000 for a sales page!!

Another source of income, or maybe just something which saves you money, is your photoshop skills. graphic design is very lucrative, especially in IM. Why not sit down, learn some more about photoshop. Do some online tutorials (there are loads for free!), and then get cracking! You can design an eBook cover, a website header, some cool web 2.0 buttons! The sky is the limit with Graphic design. You could start out charing around $20 for a good ecover, and when you have enough credibility, it could easily become $100 per eCover!!

Just my two cents

Mubarak

Woah, my internet went off and I miss the replies to the topic, thank you so much for your help.

I'm just trying to get some extra income and can offer around 12 hours a week.
