How do I promote a niche site ?

Hello Warriors,

I am new to the field of promoting niche sites as they are less frequently updated.

So I request you all to advice me on how to promote a niche site....

Any help would be appreciated.

    You may need to buy traffic, such as through PPC ads, media buying, solo ads, etc. Those are the biggies and generally are effective if you have a functional conversion system in place.

      But is it in accordance with the adsense TOS ?

      Besides this, I have a tech blog which I promote by blog commenting on relevant sites, forum posting and interlinking.

      Agree with your point but the articles that are currently on the site are ranked in google. I just want to improve the rankings to the top#5 positions.

    Same way you promote any other site? What other sites do you promote since you say you have no idea how to promote Niche sites. PPC is a common way but can get expensive.

    Its pretty much the same as promoting any other site. Try get links from similar niches, these would have more link juice. If you have the budget then do PPC ads

    Getting up to the top ranks of Google via SEO and backlinking can be nice.
    Also creatively marketing your articles so you get maximum exposure.

    Getting a site to number one in Google depends on two things in my experience:

    Having the exact right content on your site for Google to Love it. (On Page Seo). I'm now using a tool called SEOPressor for wordpress that does on page SEO automatically and I'm loving it.

    Second is to have enough backlinks with anchor text of your keywords pointing to your web page. Build links regularly and consistently and you can get nearly any site to the top.

    You can comment on related blogs if that's what you like. It is a good way to drive traffic. I recommend that you comment on blogs that have CommentLuv enabled. You can drive good amount of web traffic to your site. To look for blogs that are relevant to your niche that use CommentLuv, you need to use Global CommentLuv Search. If you have a blog and you comment on blogs that have CommentLuv, this plugin will retriever the last post you have written and post it under your comment. Anyone interested will click on the link and visit your blog.
