Well, Wouldn't You Know...You Folks Were Right All Along!

Since day one here at Warrior Central, I've been told...

"There's much easier action outside the IM-O-Sphere".

I baulked every time I heard it...see, my friends here were all carving out nice pieces of the money-makin' pie, and I wanted in, too.

I went into full-on defensive mode...

"It's either a cliche, or they're holding back on the golden ticket"

Wrong.

That slice of advice was the golden ticket, and I'm so goddamn smart it's only taken me 2 years to realise it.

A couple of weeks ago, I decided to call your collective bluffs. And guess what? Well, no guesswork needed, you knew you were right all along!

There are profitable niches everywhere. There are folks who'll actually thank you for offering to send them regular updates via email! People who have no clue about opt-ins, autoresponders, affiliation, any of that stuff.

My eyes have been opened. It'll take a while to wipe 24 months of sleep from them, but...

I joined a niche forum recently. On a whim. I was Mr Zero Post.

I spotted a question. I knew a little about the subject matter. I answered sincerely. The reply?

"Thank you so much!

That's is exactly what I need. Thanks, your reply has really helped me. 8=D"

Fast-forward a fortnight, and I was Mr Go-To on that particular topic...crazy!

Sure, I fine tuned my answers with some secondary Google research, but fundamentally...I understand the community and the problems they're trying to overcome.

I found an audience...a hungry, and trusting crowd, if you like.

But I just don't feel passionate about this niche (health related)...so now I'm taking my new found confidence, and applying it to a niche I really love. I've already started, in fact, and it's truly liberating...not least because I'm already getting a similar response.

Time to put the last 2 year's theory into practice. Time to market.

Wish me luck!

Thanks, Senior Warriors!

Steve

Awesome man! It's important to get into a niche that you like, but make sure that it is profitable. Its much easier to crank out websites, blogs, articles, etc, when you are passionate about your niche.

    Hey Steve,

    Glad you found your calling.

I was told several years ago that one of the niches I'm involved in (writing) is not profitable, and never would be.

Wrong, totally wrong! I make good income from this niche on a regular basis.

What I've learned is that it's okay to follow advice, but sometimes you just have to follow your instincts. Nine times out of ten they'll be right.

And yes, you do need to be passionate about the niche. That's what keeps the money rolling in. I've been doing this for around five years now, and my income increases every year. I'm sure that wouldn't happen if I didn't have passion for the subject matter.

I was also told the freelance and fiction writing niches were just too small to be profitable as well. I've got 10 sites on these narrow niches and I've run them VERY profitably for 9 years (it's our 9th birthday on Thursday ).

I guess there really ARE profits to be made in any niche at all! After all - my little sites have been providing me with a very healthy income for a long time now and are showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.

Hey Steve - keep us posted on your progress!

    Hey Steve,

Even though you aren't too keen on the Health Niche, you've already established yourself with these people. Don't leave them wanting to give you their money. Put the info you have collected and the answers to the questions they asked into an E-book. If you don't want to write it, gather the info and give it to a ghost writer to put it together for you.

Don't leave the money sitting on the table, fill your pockets with it!

Once they have bought, you will have there contact info. Opt them in and then give advice via an e-mail every couple of weeks. Once every 3rd email, you can offer an affiliate product to them. You've already started developing that relationship...Don't just drop the ball, this will be a very hands-off type of deal. You could even outsource the writing of the emails.

    Just a thought.

"I can" is much more important than I.Q.

Steven yes, thats been my experience also. The IM niche is full of people who have been lied to, sold overhyped piles of manure, and generally abused to the point where if theyre offered a thousand dollars no strings attached they'll still ask "what's the catch"

BTW, I hope you're not just feeling liberated, you're also feeling a little richer? In other words, are you not just popular in that niche but also making money?
