Do Free Advertising Still Work for Affiliate Marketing?

I need some clarifications here. I would like to find out whether free advertising still work for affiliate marketing. I've been promoting affiliate products from Clickbank for almost 3 years now using free advertising. But I have not earned a single cent yet. I have put up articles, created blogs, put up ads on free ad sites. But up till date I don't see any earnings at all.

I really need some kind of help and clarification here.

    Some say it works, although search engine & social marketing costs you in other ways if not financially.
    I just got a look at a course called "Full Frontal Niche" where they show you over the course of 60 days the process of discovering the right product to promote and getting buyers to your site, they relied heavily on eZinearticles, they can bang out several articles a day and use the premium service so they can schedule submissions so they spend more time at the top.
    As I understand, in the process of bum marketing, blogs have to be pulled out of obscurity and positioned on page 1 of google search results for at least some obscure niche key phrases though an organized SEO effort. (You need deep pockets to show up for things like weight loss related searches). If you have more pages and get more backlinks than the sites ranking higher than you, odds are you will end up out ranking them.
    Some people making a living on the internet say relying on free traffic (that is Google) makes a poor business model, it's better to use paid advertisements to bring in customers reliably, at a predictable cost.

    You can do quality SEO and traffic generation through some free methods. I'd advise you check out some WSO's in these specific areas if you've been doing the same thing for 3 years and struggling. I like Craig Mako's info on the subjects but ymmv.

    In the end it IS possible to get traffic from top ranks AND free marketing methods, you just have to know where to access these resources. Or you could pay any number of Warriors (in either WSO or Warriors for Hire) to rank your website for you.

      Is it true that I must have website in order to make sales?.. As I do not have the means to do any hosting or paying for domain name.. how is it possible to do advertising without a website?...

      and how do I get my emailing list as I am still not very clear about all these stuff.. Hope you guys can help me out by providing me with more info..

        You should always try to get the maximum benefits from your advertising efforts.

        Here comes in place the list building, that in time, once you built a list, would allow you to recycle the traffic time and time again.

        Traffic, even the 'free' kind, in fact comes with a cost.
        (In this case ^^^^^^ it's the time you invest)

        So it makes sense to try and reuse the previous results you got from your investments.

        Without an email list, any kind of traffic you get is simply passing by.
        With an email list, you 'capture' a part of it.

        My advice: start list building IMMEDIATELY!

        You at least need a domain name, as posting blatant clickbank affiliate links is an easy way to get articles declined and comments deleted as spam. You can forward the domain to your clickbank hoplink though without buying hosting if that's what you're after.

    you sure can make money with free advertising with affiliate marketing.
    there people out there doing it.....you been using free advertising for the last 3 years and never made a single sale. you may need to look at getting a course like Traffic Ultimatum the course has free and paid ways to get traffic to your website.
