Voice/Speech Recognition Software

Whats good an whats bad guys? I'm looking into it to help me out with writing long copies and articles.

I'd like something free, but of course that usually means that performance will suffer.

What do you use and how has it worked for you?

If you have Windows Vista it comes with free voice recognition software built in.

I have used it, it isn't to bad once you get used to it and get it trained to your voice.

I think it is comparable to others on the market like dragon.

You can't beat the price.

There is one that I use. $15 and is super easy to use and customize. It is call e-speaking: Voice Recognition Software - (Speech Recognition) Free to download Software to command and control your computer using your voice, dictation to email and word programs, and speech to have the computer read documents, email, and websites to you; recog. not an affiliate link.

if you use a mac, I know a reasonable one (although it takes a HECK of a lot of time to 'train' it!)

Dragon naturally speaking is suppose to be one of the best ones available. Reasonably priced too, check it out on YouTube.
