Google ads or Facebook ads

I have been wanting to start a ad campaign, I have used local advertising and been working on seo but now am wanting to go into google ads or Facebook ads. I was wondering what the members of this forum have experienced with these two options? Or which one would be better to go with?

    Mate,

    The best thing you can do is run both at the same time tracking
    your anlaytics right down to the keyword/link. And then determining which
    one is resulting in the best sales for the smallest amount invested.

    Use google analytics or piwiki, it doesnt matter which one you use, just be
    totally anal about your testing and the bset solution will reveal itself.
