I used Grow Your Social Network - Twitter, Facebook & Youtube | Twiends and it seemed to work fairly well. I even went as far as paying for part of the service to see it work a little deeper. I'm rating it fair and a good idea, but I wanted your opinion on it.

I put the resource in a recent eBook I created for IM tools online. I don't claim responsibility in the book for Twiends, but I still feel a moral responsibility if I recommend something.

I haven't been harmed from Twiends.com and have gained some followers. I'm just not certain the "quality" of fans and followers that I'm really receiving.

At this point, and because I "think" the service is fairly new ... I wouldn't pay for the service again. At least until they get the quality kinks worked out - although I'm not sure if that's ever 100% possible.

Anyone have experience with them and/or an opinion?

I typically get followers on my own, but when new services pop up, I do find an interest in it ... hey, especially if it provides value. But you don't know until you try and/or research.

Thanks!

With Twiends you're only getting fans/followers that are only on Twiends to get fans/followers. If you just wanted to increase your numbers for the sake of social proof, then I guess it works, but if you want targeted fans/followers that are actually interested in what you have to offer, then Twiends isn't really effective.

That's where I'm having the concern. Why get followers or fans just for the sake of numbers? I want people in front of me that "want" to be there. Otherwise what's the point.

When I first arrived at Twiends, I found you could search by interest, of which I did. But that doesn't mean that everyone else is "liking" my fan page or following me on Twitter with the same in mind.

I think who created the site "want's" those on there to follow via interest and not just for numbers. But they can't control that. That is my only concern. Otherwise I think it's a good idea.

From what I've seen, most people on Twiends don't really care, they just like other pages in order to get the credits so someone else can like their page.

Yes, exactly, and why I'll never pay for the service again. I think for experimenting purpose and getting to know the service, paying once was fine. But that's just me.

Anyway ... it's too bad ppl are clicking just for seeds. I see that too. I just cleaned out my Twitter account a bit and from using Twiends, at one point there were over 300 following me, now it's down to 200 something.

What they're doing is following me for the seeds and then unfollowing or disliking ASAP so they can get more seeds to market more themselves. That I find something that Twiends is going to have a hard time controlling.

For myhelprep twitter account, it's fairly new and for this I thought I'd try out Twiends on a fresh account to get a deeper look.

Some have followed just for the sake of getting my info which is cool, but I'd say that most have not. Just to gain seeds for themselves.

I think it is similar to getting backlinks for SEO that won't give you traffic- such as an obscure directory. With YouTube for example you gain views but the viewers neer see the description and links. If the connection is to slow the video stops playing but they still get credit for watching it if they leave it open long enough. And I bet viewers have the sound off as most of them are just after seeds (points) to promote their own stuff. so real viewers yes, quality viewers who can be converted maybe no.

Well it's like a auto mouse clicker it automatically likes/follows every page and gets credits to us and I use these credits to get likes and follows for my clients page or twitter account.

There was a WSO on it.
You can google for more info.

You use Twiends to get likes and follows for your clients? Don't you think that you're doing them a slight disservice by doing so? I would think that they're paying you to get them targeted followers, not just random people from Twiends that are doing the same thing you're doing, right? Just saying.
