What is the plugin that will allow your actual blog post title in the URL?

    That's not a plug-in - that's a setting that you change on the Settings->Permalinks page.

    As Jason already pointed out, you do not need any special plugin for this.

    Simply go to Wordpress Dashboard,
    and edit the Permalink for your posts... here is more

      1) All you to do is log in to your wordpress admin page.
      2) Click on settings then the permalinks tab.
      3) Click on custom structure and type this /%postname%/ then save changes

      The title of your blog post will now appear in the Url

      Hope this helps

    yes, custom structure on the permalinks "/%postname%/" work great, as i have been using it for more a year now, and it's seo friendly.

    By the way, i'm also using Optimal Title, it explains what it does here, so check it out.

    You can update Permalinks as others said, and then you have to edit the Post URL on the page where you write the post.

    If you want to use plugin for "title" I'd recommend either Headspace or All in one SEO pack.

    All-in-one-seo or seo-title plugins are mandatory for any wordpress blog in my opinion. You want to control the permalink, as per the instructions in the replies above, and also most importantly, control how the <title> of your blog posts are laid out.

    You want it go to [Article Title - Blog Title], not the other way around which is the default setting.
