Making Payments from India

Due to the RBI restrictions Paypal does not allow Indians to use money in their Paypal account to make payments outside India.

I don't have a credit card and need to pay Godaddy for a bunch of domains in August. Been googling and the best solution seems to open an account in the HDFC Bank and use their Virtual Credit Card service.

I'd like to ask Indian members if therez any other work around. Are there any VCC sellers in India, or maybe some other technique you use to make payments outside India?

I heard that it is not possible to make payment to an Indian paypal account. Is that true? I know there is a $500 limit, but is it possible to have more than $500 in the account? Thanks in advance.

Hi nice guy - how can I add funds from my bank account to Paypal. I don't have a credit card and don't see the option for adding funds on the Paypal dashboard.

There is actually no problems with paypal and India. Just that you need to have a credit card to make payments to websites.

Also, if you want to transfer funds to your bank account then you should have a PAN number and also "purpose of withdrawal" or something like that. For Indians, I guess paypal is still user friendly, but they just want more proof that you are not some crap.
