How long before posting on art directories?

Good evening!

I have a little " stupid" question if I may...

I know the importance of posting your articles first on your website and then to articles directories once they have been indexed first. That's what I don't really get?

How long do you wait before submitting them to Eza etc? and how exactly can you be sure your article has been indexed?

Thanks all!

Yoan

    Hi Yoan,

Once they're indexed, you can submit them anywhere you like.

Google goes through a "learning process" with sites, and the more regularly you update their contents, the more frequently it will index them. (This forum, with its mass of fast-moving, regularly updated content, seems to get indexed about every 15 minutes!).

I take a ten-word chunk of it spanning two sentences (i.e. end of one sentence and beginning of the next) and just paste it into Google between "inverted commas": if it shows up, it's been indexed.
