When creating new follow up message, will it be sent to people already on my list?

A couple of weeks ago I had a pretty decent conversion on a broadcast message, and I want to add it to my follow up messages. I'm just wandering if this will then be sent to people already on my list. I say this because I don't want to send them the same message again.

Cheers

May even depend on what autoresponder service you use. To be sure, do this.

    1. Setup a test list
    2. Subscribe a few of your own email accounts to it.
    3. Blast the email out.
    4. Add it to the auto responder series and see if you get it again.

I'm thinking the only people that will get it twice are the ones that have not hit that future mailing date yet.

For example: Set an autoresponder email to go out 3 days after subscription. All members that have been members more than 3 days should not get it. Any under the 3 day mark should get it once they hit the 3 day mark.

Or just ask the autoresponder company you use.

I know this doesn't work (or at least I haven't found the way) with GetResponse.

    Best regards. George

    If you use aweber, yes.

Broadcast its an independent message from follow up, so if you add it, the people you have on your list for that message number will receive it. (New people are on the sequence and will receive it when they reach that message).

But you can add a note on your message telling the truth: I got great comments about this stuff and I know some people missing it so I decide to invite you again, or something like that, people will understand.

If you use Aweber yes.. once it is added to the sequence then it will be sent out at the scheduled time (ie 2 days from last email) but if that is the next email theya re suppose to get then yes they will get it again....

However, with Imnica and most others they will not receive it as each particular message is actually triggered by subscription (or another action you determine). Therefore only people who opt-in after the message is created will receive it (on "x" day)

    Hope this helps...

By the way, what a/r are you using?
