Hi of course it's important! The money is in the list...

You can sign up for one of the autoresponder services such as aweber, getresponse and icontact. I personally recommend aweber which I have been using for the past 3 years+ with great satisfaction =)

Haha yes. I quit MailChimp a while back. LOL.

Absolutely!

You need an autoresponder service like Aweber. And you'll need to build a squeeze page in order to collect those leads...

A list should not be seen as a regular source of income, that's a very dangerous mindset to have.

You build lists to increase the Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) of your buyers, or the Prospect Lifetime Value (PLV) of your prospects.

The most important thing with list building is to keep adding quality prospects or buyers to your list on a consistent basis.

Lists are simply a tool or platform to increase the CLV or PLV.

Once you have a list you basically have traffic on tap...

You have a targeted group of people who are interested in what you say and the niche your in. Just imagine how powerful it would be to be able to send 500-1000 clicks to any site at any time just by "pushing a button" (or clicking rather)... However look to get 10K plus on your list to start seeing those results...

List building is the backbone of nearly all successful online businesses and internet marketers, some will say otherwise but most agree that you need a list...

With a list you have a real "business asset" literally worth it's weight in gold...

Build a list, treat it good and your set...

List building is the backbone of nearly all successful online businesses and internet marketers. If you take Online Business as a real person then I'd say Email List is the Heart for this business.

Yep, list building is one credible way to grow a long term business. Making sure that the relationship is nurtured is critical. Add this to a number of proven IM techniques and you will slowly get to where you need to be.

If you oh so much as start sending out emails promoting the next big thing on a regular basis you will soon lose trust from your subscribers and the list's effectiveness will start to go down hill.

Exactly!! people think the more they have in their list the more $$ they will get but it's the relationship with the list that's more important at the end of the day, that's where the money is.

Mailing list is more than necessary. In fact, one subscriber on your list is worth more than $3000. That been said, the most important thing is to have good relationship with your subscribers.

There are free autoresponder provider out there but I will recommend aweber which is a paid autoresponder service.

An email list is very important. If you are selling any type of product online, you need to understand this. But, maintaining that list is equally important.

For example. my brother is a painter who makes a living selling his paintings online. I spoke with him the other day about the importance of him keeping an email list. He has sold paintings to over 300 buyers the last 3 years but does not keep a list. Can you imagine how many more sales and how much more money he could be making by keeping and maintaining a list?

The list is one of the most important aspects. Your list is your prospects and you learn to work your list for sales and conversions.

I use Aweber to build my list. You can easily navigate their site and it is really inexpensive for the purpose you are doing.
