I Am Finally Making a Steady Income From IM

Hi guys,

I am making £150+ a day constantly selling ebooks using paypal. I want to open set up a business account, pay taxes, withdraw the money whenever i want and everything to be in one place ie aweber fees to be taken from this place too..

Whats the best way about going about this ?

I heard about something about paypal pro?

I live in the uk, any insight would be much appreciated! Thanks

Paypal Pro is mostly for selling...you can incorporate it into your website(s) and this way customers do not have to leave your site to go to paypal...payments can be done directly from your site. Paypal pro (I Think) is around $30/month. If you are making $150 per day, I would keep things the way they are.

Do you have a PayPal debit card? This is a good thing to have and you can use it just like a credit card (ie making payments to your vendors).

Best of luck to you and congrats on making some steady income...way to go!!!

Congra, I didnt know you can sell ebooks over paypal. I am doing using amazon, but I want to move up to higher commission items, not having much luck now. Do you have to do alot of SEO on your sites to get sales??

Can you share with me your website

    Hi,

Well done for reaching a consistent income online.

You should give paypal a call and speak to them about it. They'll guide you in the right direction and most likely fix everything up over the phone!

Congrats. You should consider increasing your revenue/profit first before doing anything.

My suggestion, research for how you can increase your sales or if there any similar demand from the market or look if you can create another info product and use that budget to market it. It's all goes like that.

Try to double every penny you made online.

Hey congratulations on your success! I agree with Martin... more important to scale up now and increase your profits. Also, be very careful when dealing with Paypal.. I've heard all kinds of horror stories about them like having the account frozen etc.

I just created a new product complete with an ebook and videos and a member site. Know where I can advertise it so that affiliates can start promoting it? I'm paying 90% commissions and its on Digiresults.

A few of the directories require 3 digit payments per month so I was wondering if there are other places to post them on?

Thanks for all the replies, will probably go with paypal pro and get myself one of those paypal debit/credit cards.

Everyone talks about scaling up, but i am finding it difficult, one of the major scale ups i did was about 4 weeks ago when i made my site where i sell the ebooks compatible for mobile phones, profits increased by +70%! definetly worth doing if you havent done so already.

Don't think you can get a Paypal Debit Card in the UK yet. Soon though.
They had a "Pre Pay" system going, but they have cancelled it. Shame, you could get the money next day.

I am told they have a German company taking over later this year. Mastercard Related.

ahh yeah only available in the US

back to sqaure 1, still have no idea what to do. Have all my money sitting in my paypal account, with aweber and other fees coming out of a seperate bank account.

I just want everything to be in one place...

You will only be able to pay people who accept Paypal payments - I don't believe Aweber does. You can't get a Paypal debit card either unless in the US so your only option is to transfer money out of your account into a bank account, and use those funds to put on a credit card you use to pay your bills. Most companies you deal with will want payment by credit card.

Cos that will make it real, right? I didn't think there were any people out there who still believed in screenshots... but I stand corrected.

Well I know this is a bit long, but why don't you open one new account, add that to your paypal account and then change the billing details on all your other services so they are all linked to the one account?

I got an HSBC business account, but they also gave me a separate savings account so I syphon off part of my earnings to that account for taxes and you get a bit of interest and a card and chequebook. After seeing all of the Paypal horror stories I didn't want to keep too much money in my Paypal account, so any excess gets transfered.

PayPal Pro is probably a bit of overkill, especially if your market is people who are used to / happy to pay using Paypal.

What PayPal Pro does, is provide a way where people without PayPal accounts can pay you just using their credit / debit card (without having to set up a PayPal account of their own). You can make the payment page look more like a regular payment gateway. But, it will involve some coding to set it up and the money will still end up in your Paypal account - so it seems like a lot of work for little gain, unless you are missing a whole bunch of customers who won't buy your products because they dont use PayPal.

Just like Patricia J, I have a UK Business account (mine is with NatWest). This is linked to my Paypal account, so I can transfer funds between PayPal and my business account as necessary. I have set up a lot of my recurring business expenses to be paid by Paypal (e.g. my server costs), and if there is not sufficient funds in my Paypal account to cover the whole amount, then Paypal takes the balance from my bank account, because it is linked. I find it works really well. I don't keep loads of funds in my Paypal account - there's no need.

    Hope that helps.

      hey guys,

Just came back from thailand, spent a week there to celebrate

any way if anyone was interested I set up a HSBC business account, it costs nothing to set up and there are no hidden fees.. the only catch is your only allowed to withdraw £10 000 a month from cash machines otherwise you will be charged.. that doesnt effect me.

I basically have the same set up as what Patricia J has now.

      so thanks!

Thailand's my favourite place (for the right reasons, before anyone insinuates anything!)

Congratulations of the account and of course, the income... pray, tell - any tips for a newbie, I'd be most grateful eBooks were something I was interested in, but I've strayed from it.... Thank you in advance!
